The 46th Ports of Auckland Round the Bays event is an 8.4km run or walk over a scenic flat course, following the contours of Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour. Ports of Auckland Round the What is Ports of Auckland Bays has been an iconic Auckland event since 1972. Round the Bays? Attracting more than 30,000 people each year, participants come from a diverse cross-section of the Auckland population - corporates, families and communities groups all come together to celebrate summer, health, wellbeing and the wider Auckland community. We are looking for supporting partners for 2018 Ports of Auckland Round the Bays Values: • Committed to supporting the community - over the past 13 years Round the Bays has allowed Stuff and event partners to donate more than $2.5million to charitable causes and initiatives. • The events strategic pillars are to support and promote health and wellbeing as well as to host an event that is sustainable and respects the environment • This is achieved through donations and fundraising via Everyday Hero, as well as ensuring operational measures are in place to deliver an event that has minimal impact on the environment and local communities. • To provide co-partners and sponsors with a strong engagement platform with many touch points – pre, during and post event.
