Schedule of Events Please refer to your Individual Schedule for more detailed information regarding the afternoon. 9 a.m. | Check-in Mike and Josie Harper Center Atrium 9:15 a.m. | Welcome Hixson-Lied Auditorium (Mike and Josie Harper Center, Main Floor) A welcome to campus from Sarah Richardson, director of admissions and scholarships, with opening remarks from Anthony Hendrickson, PhD, dean of the Heider College of Business. 9:30 a.m. | Intro to Ethics Challenge Hixson-Lied Auditorium (Mike and Josie Harper Center, Main Floor) Engage in a lively discussion about today’s ethics challenge with economics instructor Tim Bastian, MA . 10 a.m. | Ethics Challenge Group Meetings Mike and Josie Harper Center Classrooms Groups will be disbursed by number following the Intro to Ethics Challenge. 11:15 a.m. | Ethics Challenge Group Presentations Mike and Josie Harper Center Classrooms Presentation locations will be assigned by group. 11:15 a.m.–1 p.m. | Morning Optional Sessions You and your guests may attend these sessions while you wait for your group to present. Please return to your group 10 minutes prior to your presentation start time. 11:15–11:45 a.m. | Admissions Next Steps Conversation Mike and Josie Harper Center, Room 3048 Sarah Richardson, director of admissions, will review a checklist of items that need to be completed prior to enrolling at Creighton. 11:15–11:45 a.m. and Noon–12:30 p.m. | Heider Student Panel Hixson-Lied Auditorium (Mike and Josie Harper Center, Main Floor) Learn from a panel of current Heider students about their experience with internships, service, campus activities and social life at Creighton. (This is ongoing; please feel free to come and go at your convenience.)
12:45–2 p.m.* | Lunch Ahmanson Ballroom (Mike and Josie Harper Center, 4th Floor) Special guest speaker Mark Haner, senior sales manager at LinkedIn and co-chair of the Silicon Prairie Collective, will be speaking about the state of business and technology in Omaha and why Creighton students are poised to take on amazing career opportunities. * Lunch will begin as soon as individual presentations are complete. Parents and guests will have lunch separately from students. 2–5 p.m. | Afternoon Optional Sessions Review the list of ongoing activities and optional sessions below. Feel free to select an activity or session at each time slot and plan accordingly with your interview time. Ongoing Campus Activities 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 7 p.m., 9 p.m. | Mass St. John’s Church Join the St. John’s parish community for Mass on Sunday. Student-led services are 7 p.m. Mass and 9 p.m. Candlelight Mass. 1–3 p.m. | Creighton Partners Career Fair Mike and Josie Harper Center, 4th Floor Corridor Meet employers and community partners who provide Creighton students with internship and career opportunities. 1–4 p.m. | Institute for Economic Inquiry (IEI) Showcase Mike and Josie Harper Center, 4th Floor Staircase Foyer Meet with faculty and students to learn more about programming and research opportunities available through IEI. 2–4 p.m. | Financial Aid Walk-in Appointments Mike and Josie Harper Center, Admissions Office We will accommodate families as they arrive to answer individual questions regarding financial aid.

Afternoon Optional Sessions Choose from the optional sessions, ongoing campus activities and other points of interest to customize your day. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes unless otherwise noted. Please allow 10 minutes of walk time to other buildings. 2 p.m. The Heider Mindset and the Future of Business Education Hixson-Lied Auditorium (Mike and Josie Harper Center, Main Floor) This is your opportunity to hear from Dean Anthony Hendrickson, PhD, about our new Heider Mindset Curriculum and learn about how the Heider College of Business’ innovative approach to educating the business leaders of the future. Global Scholars Program Presentation Rigge Science Building, Room 120 All students interviewing for the Creighton Global Scholars (CGS) program should attend this session. Hear from René Padilla, PhD, vice provost for Global Engagement; Lizzy Curran, CGS program coordinator; and Joe Ecklund, PhD, CGS program advisor, to learn more about the Global Scholars Program. Tours of Campus (leaving every 30 minutes) Mike and Josie Harper Center Atrium (Registration Table) Campus tours typically last about one hour. Residence Hall Tours Kiewit and Swanson Halls Meet in the lobby of the residence hall; a guide will meet you there to give you a tour of a room. Tours last 10–15 minutes.
3 p.m. Anna Tyler Waite Business Leadership Mike and Josie Harper Center, Room 3047 Hear from Todd Darnold, PhD, associate dean and director of Leadership Programs in the Heider College of Business, about opportunities for leadership in the college and in the Omaha business community. Creighton Basketball Watch Party V.J. and Angela Skutt Student Center, Mutual of Omaha Ballroom Support the Creighton men’s basketball team as they take on Xavier in the annual Pink Out Game. We’ll bring the snacks! This will be ongoing for the duration of the game. Freshman Leadership Program (FLP) Presentation V.J. and Angela Skutt Student Center, Room 104 For applicants to FLP. Learn about FLP from current students and see if this program is a fit for you. This exhibition class and our certified Bloomberg will artfully showcase the complex and Terminals during this ongoing demo. beautiful resist-dye textile technique called IKAT. Mary Zicafoose began experimenting with her own adaptation of the ikat technique, applying it to her work in tapestry and is respected 1–5 p.m. globally for her accomplished work in Mike and Josie Harper Center, Main Floor contemporary weft ikat.
