Summer in Hong Kong 2018 Unified application form for two programs hosted by the MIT hong Kong Innovation Node: MEMSI (http://memsi.mit.edu) and MEFTI (http://mefti.mit.edu) Apply online at http://hkinnovationnode.mit.edu/apply Please note that we will only accept applications received through our online application form during the application period. This is going to take 15-30 minutes, depending on whether you are applying to both programs for the first time. We strongly encourage you to download the full set of questions from this location: http://hkinnovationnode.mit.edu/application. You can then work on your responses in a separate document at your convenience. When you are ready, you can copy and paste into this form to avoid losing work. Overview, eligibility and instructions What is MEMSI? MEMSI is a two-week long hardware startup bootcamp for undergraduate and graduate students in MIT and in Hong Kong. See program website at http://memsi.mit.edu for details. The June session will run from May 29 - June 10, 2018. What is MEFTI? MEFTI is a one-week long FinTech startup bootcamp for undergraduate and graduate students in MIT and in Hong Kong. See program website at http://mefti.mit.edu for details. The August session will run from August 26 - September 2, 2018. Who organizes MEMSI and MEFTI? MEMSI and MEFTI are powered by the MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node (http://hkinnovationnode.mit.edu), the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship (http://entrepreneurship.mit.edu), Project Manus (http://project-manus.mit.edu), MISTI-China (http://misti.mit.edu/mit-china) and the MIT Innovation Initiative (http://innovation.mit.edu). Who may apply? Undergraduate and graduate students in degree-bearing programs at MIT or any of our partner universities in Hong Kong (CityU, CUHK, EdUHK, HKBU, HKU, HKUST, LU, PolyU)? Can I apply to both? Yes, but if selected, you may attend only one of the two. Space is limited and so we are not able to accommodate the same person in both programs. Where can I go to learn more? General eligibility (* = required) As of January 2018, are you a currently enrolled full-time student in a degree-bearing undergraduate or graduate program at MIT or at one of our 8 partner universities in Hong Kong (CityU, CUHK, EdUHK, HKBU, HKU, HKUST, LU, PolyU)? * ● Yes ● No MEMSI and MEFTI are full time, residency programs.
