A MESSAGE FROM KAREN BOORSHTEIN FAMILY SERVICE LEAGUE’S PRESIDENT & CEO Thank you for sharing this summer evening with us as we celebrate another year of providing quality programs to thousands of families throughout Long Island. Although Long Island is considered by many to be prosperous there are too many children and adults enduring severe hardships - poverty, homelessness, struggling with the challenges of mental illness, or living with the destruction of addiction. FSL delivers tangible help and crisis intervention across a broad spectrum of areas that offer education, housing, support, and counseling services. Your funding is making a difference. Your thoughtfulness and generosity have been vital to our mission of helping to Restore Hope and Rebuild Lives for thousands. On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for joining us tonight. We extend our gratitude to our event sponsors and Gallagher, our Corporate Leadership Award Honoree. All of whom have partnered with us to make this an extraordinary night. Again, please accept my deepest appreciation for joining us and helping us to help others in need. Warmest regards, Karen Boorshtein, LCSW President & CEO
