ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC STUDENT PARISH KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN MIGRANT MININSTRY DONATIONS WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING CLOTHING, FOOD, LINENS, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS FOR USE BY MIGRANT FAMILIES IN OUR AREA. Clothing is needed for men, women, and children. Articles should be suitable for warm weather and for field work for adults (jeans, shorts, short & long sleeve cotton or cotton blend shirts, and work boots or ten- nis shoes). Children’s and infant clothing should be washable play type clothes (no dress clothing or dry cleanable clothes). Food items needed are: rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, and canned tomatoes. Kitchen items that are most useful are; glasses, dishes, and large pots & pans. Other items that can be used are: sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, infant and toddler car seats, strollers, and highchairs. Please no microwaves or tv’s. DONATED ITEMS MAY BE BROUGHT TO THE ST. SOCIAL JUSTICE - FAITH IN ACTION YOUTH MINISTRY Faith in Action, a branch of the Social Justice program, is happy to present the first of our summer activities. The Social Justice program is a combined program for St. Thomas More and St. Joseph parishes. We will be working with Open Doors, a community organization that provides affordable housing to families who work for mini- mum wage and to the homeless in their men's and women's shelters.
