Wilkerson inducted into St. X
Alumni Hall of Honors
“A walking billboard for the St. X motto to pursue excellence in all
endeavors,” is how Chief Barry Wilkerson was described in the video
presented on October 20 as he was inducted into the St. Xavier
High School’s Alumni Hall of Honors. Chief Wilkerson says that his
primary influences growing up were his parents, who sacrificed to
send both he and his brother to Catholic schools, and St. Xavier High
School. Chief Wilkerson, who graduated from St. X in 1980, stated
his four takeaways from St. X were “Confidence, faith, structure and
the desire to succeed.”
