“I quickly realized that the library is far more than a place where books are housed. It is an essential community hub, a place to meet, to learn, to contribute, to change. A place where good feelings are shared and ideas come into action. A place where everyone belongs. I had never thought about libraries in this way before. …My wish is that everyone could truly understand how important libraries really are and how they have the ability to bring joy into our lives. My experience has been more than just rewarding, it has been healing.” Andrea, STPL Volunteer 16
