                       Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, step-mothers, grandmothers
                       and step-grandmothers
                                                                       on earth and in heaven.
                                                                         M…..is for the million things she gave me,
                                                                         O…..means only that she’s growing old,
                                                                         T…..is for the tears she shed to save me,
                                                                         H….is for her heart of purest gold;
                                                                         E….is for her eyes, with love-light shining
                                                                         R….means right, and right she’ll always be.

Presidents Message continued….
We thank our mother for their love & care. In Australia its customary we wear a carnation on this day,
either a coloured carnation indicating that person’s mother is alive or a white carnation signifying a
deceased mother. We also celebrate this day with great joy & enthusiasm, give gifts, cards, flowers &
lots of love to our mum.

Please take care, stay safe, your health is everything.

To date, the coronavirus has infected in excess of 3,000,000 people worldwide. From May 1 we are all
pleased that the NSW Government has eased restrictions a little by allowing us to visit family and
friends 2 at a time while still maintaining social distancing rules.

der very trying circumstances. We say ‘Thank you’ and stay safe.

The 2020 Rotary Virtual Convention 20-26th June 2020

Winding up the Club's Benevolent Fund.
As foreshadowed in President Lilly's recent email update, it is the intention of the trustees to dissolve the Be-
nevolent Fund and distribute the corpus prior to June 30, 2020.
The charities under consider consideration include:
Rotary Foundation
Salvation Army
Matt Talbot Hostel
Wayside Chapel
Lifeline
Shelterbox
Sir David Martin Foundation
Teachers College, Baucau, East Timor
Youth off the Streets
Clontarf foundation
Our choice of charities have been weighted towards those that provide assistance to those who have found
themselves in difficult circumstances as a result of the Covid 19 crisis.
Should any member feel strongly that a charity associated with the club in addition to those mentioned, should
