UPCOMING SERMON SERIES SERMON ON THE MOUNT CAPITAL Our next sermon series takes us from the end of April-end of July. The Sermon on the Mount CAMPAIGN gives us insight into what the Kingdom of God looks like and feels like; it is a sweeping declaration of the character, influence, and UPDATE actions of a citizen of the Kingdom, articulated with perfect intent by the King himself. The Kingdom of God can be defined as God’s Our Building Connections Capital Campaign wraps up this May. reign in human hearts. When we repent from We are so grateful for the contributions you have made. The new our sinful nature and allow God to reign in our spaces are helping to build connections with our community and hearts, in our relationships, in all of our affairs, with each other. Here is an update: everything changes. Actual Costs through 2/28/2019 are $3,607,000. An additional In His sermon, we hear Jesus tell of deeds of Christian courage, of compassion and reconciliation, of $15,000 in interest costs are estimated to be incurred between integrity in the face of temptation, and of witness for truth and justice. In God’s kingdom there would 3/01/2019 and 5/31/2019 ( 3 years since approval). That would be no walking the line, no asking, “How close can I get to sin without sinning?” In His kingdom, motive bring the total cost to $3,622,000 ($22,000 above the originally matters as much as action. In the kingdom life, there is a righteousness only possible by means of a estimated amount). changed heart. The Kingdom of God is not just a different world that is unattainable; it is real, is doable, is possible and is expected by Jesus for His new people. Actual Revenues from pledges through 2/28/2019 are $2,199,000. Based on payments to date, it is estimated that an additional $23,000 in pledge payments will be received between 3/01/2019 and 5/31/2019 (3 years since approval). That would bring the total revenues to $2,222,000 ($22,000 above the originally estimated amount). Total loan outstanding as of 2/28/2019 is $1,408,000 (costs of $3,607,000 less revenues of $2,199,000). The additional net revenues of $8,000 (revenues of $23,000 less interest costs of $15,000) would bring the loan outstanding to $1,400,000 (current loan of $1,408,000 less additional net revenues of $8,000). That would bring the loan balance to the orginally estimated $1,400,000. The financial success of the project depends on receiving the additional pledge payments on the current capital campaign and on a future capital campaign to pay off the remaining $1,400,000 SAVE THE DATE! in debt. You have been very generous and supportive of the project and WOMEN’S FALL RETREAT that support is greatly appreciated by the Building Committee and the Finance Committee. Thank You !!
