Prospector: Adam Travis Project: Lucky Property (previously known as the Lucky, Rats and Castle Property) Brief Introduction: Presenter Bio Graduated from UBC with a B.Sc major in Geology in 1990 and have been involved in the mineral exploration industry since then. Worked with Companies such as Keewatin engineering, Hunter Dickinson, Taseko Mines and most recently with QuestEx Gold & Copper (formerly known as Colorado Resources Ltd) and am currently the CEO and Director of Roughrider Exploration Limited Throughout the years have held various properties throughout BC and the Yukon in my private company Cazador Resources Ltd. Size of Property: 4 Lucky claims totaling Property 2,598.69 ha. Copper Mountain Mine Ownership: Property is owned 100% by Cazador Resources Ltd. Access: The Property Claim is accessible by Details taking the paved Princeton- Summerland road Photo taken from Lucky Property north from Princeton BC. This road runs through the Property. Nearest Community: The Property is 9 km northeast of Princeton and 23 km north Copper Mountain northeast of Copper Mountain Mine. Mine Sponsored in part by: Prospector: Adam Travis Property Location: Princeton, B.C.
The area of the claims is underlain by Nicola Group (Upper Triassic) volcanic and intrusive rock, the Summers Creek batholith (Jurassic) and the Princeton Group (Tertiary) sediments. The Nicola rocks occupy the central part of the claims and consist of andesite and dacite intruded by syenite and monzonite. In the eastern part of the claims these Triassic rocks are intruded by granodiorite of Jurassic Rats age (Summers Creek batholith). Minfile Geology To the southeast and west the Nicola Bonacci rocks are down faulted along northwest Minfile and north-south trending normal faults. Sandstones belonging to the Princeton Lucky Group cover the Nicola Group in this Minfile area. Of economic interest is a large area of hydrothermally altered Triassic volcanic rocks outcropping as gossans Lucky along the Princeton-Osprey Lake road. Strike Minfile Alteration minerals comprise K- feldspar, epidote, sericite, quartz, pyrite, hematite and chalcopyrite. The alteration affects a large area, much of it overburden covered. Induced polarization surveys indicate sulphides over 1.5 square km area. Sponsored in part by: Prospector: Adam Travis Property Location: Princeton, B.C.
Rats- Mineralization exposed in numerous trenches consists primarily of malachite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and magnetite, with minor bornite and chalcocite (?). The sulphides are confined largely to a 150-metre wide zone trending west-northwest for 500 metres. This zone is comprised of two parallel subsidiary zones. The southern zone is 450 metres long and 50 metres wide. It contains the strongest copper mineralization, occurring as disseminations, stringers and stockworks. Locally, chalcopyrite and malachite form up to 10 per cent of the rock by volume. The northern zone is 500 metres long and 100 metres wide, and generally contains less 1 per cent chalcopyrite and malachite, mostly as disseminations. The mineralization broadly parallels the folding of the basalts, and therefore may predate it. Bonnacci- A pyritic zone, 350 metres long and up to 180 metres wide is developed in quartz monzodiorite, monzonite and diorite in the outer part of a zoned intrusion, 1.2 kilometres wide. This stock intrudes andesitic to basaltic volcanics of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group. The monzodiorite exhibits clay, epidote and chlorite alteration. Mineralization consists of pink quartz- carbonate veinlets carrying chalcopyrite and minor pyrite and galena. The west end of the pyritic zone was tested by two adits Minfile excavated in 1942. Kennco Explorations (Western) Ltd. and Amax Exploration completed geological, geophysical and soil geochemical surveys over the showing in 1959 and 1969. Additional geological mapping and petrographic studies were Occurrence conducted by Quintana Minerals Corporation in 1977 and by P. Peto in 1989. s Lucky - Stronger mineralization, containing 0.2 to 0.5 per cent copper, occurs in a zone widening northerly from 75 metres to 250 metres, over a strike length of 400 metres. At this point the zone and peripheral zones of propylitic alteration are inferred to be displaced for at least 400 metres by a right-lateral strike-slip fault striking west-southwest (Assessment Report 6292). One percussion hole, located 70 metres south of the inferred strike-slip fault, analyzed 0.42 per cent copper and 0.205 gram per tonne gold over 24.4 metres (Assessment Reports 18863, Figure 3; 20113, page 2, hole RC87-8). A second hole drilled 190 metres north-northwest of hole RC87-8, analyzed 0.21 per cent copper and 0.262 gram per tonne gold over 32.0 metres (hole RC87-1). Surface sampling yielded copper values of up to 0.822 per cent and gold values of up to 0.470 gram per tonne (Assessment Report 16265, page 4). Gold values were almost invariably associated with high copper values but many high copper values had low accessory gold. The amount of pyrite in the rock appears to have no bearing on the gold content. Lucky Strike - Mineralization consists of chalcopyrite and pyrite, together with quartz and epidote, filling fractures in the pegmatite and in the volcanics near the pegmatite. Extensive malachite staining is developed along such mineralized fractures. Traces of copper mineralization also occurs in narrow fractures cutting the Nicola Group rocks. A 2-metre chip sample assayed 0.46 gram per tonne gold and 0.823 per cent copper (Assessment Report 16265, sample #TL92H0159R). This showing was explored in 1927 and 1928 by G. Broderick and T. Hume. Three adits, one shaft and a number of trenches were excavated over a Sponsored in part by: distance of 300 metres. Prospector: Adam Travis Property Location: Princeton, B.C.
In the main Lucky showing a total of 29 Percussion, RC and Diamond drill holes were completed in the showing areas however only the results of 87-1, 87-2 and 87-8 have been reported. The three holes that were reported had significant copper results. Cominco’s IP work was never completed over the showing, and the percussion holes were short (>100m) deep. History of In 2007 two copper anomalies (Anomaly “A” and “B”) were Project discovered however the historic IP surveys do not cover the area. Anomaly A has never been drill tested, but Anomaly B has been tested by short percussion drill holes. On the western edge of Anomaly B drill hole 90-13 ran 1,920 ppm Cu and 58 ppb Au over 3.05 m, drill hole 90-15 averaged 560 ppm Cu and 45 ppb Au over 12.25 m and drill hole 90-1 averaged 433 ppm Cu, the drill hole results on the eastern edge of the Anomaly are Sponsored in part by: not known. In 2011, Blue River completed a diamond drill BXR-11-4 41.3 m of 0.16 Cu, incl: 30.3 m of 0.18% Cu program totaling 1,133 m over 12 holes. Copper BXR-11-6 27.7 m of 0.14% Cu mineralization was and BXR-11-7 51.0 m of 0.12% Cu intersected in 8 of the 10 holes recovered. Diamond BXR-11-1c drill hole BXR-11-4 31.5 m of History of intersected 43 metres 0.14% Cu grading 0.16 % Cu from 19 Project to 60 m. Cazador has completed minor surface exploration programs on the Property, most notably the collection of 265 soil samples and 12 rock samples this spring (results pending). First time in more than 40 years that all mineral showing have been consolidated into one property. Bonacci/Lucky and Lucky Strike occur along northerly trending structures over 2km of strike and have returned significant copper and gold in old poorly documented drillholes. Outcrop is limited throughout the property and modern geophysical programs and drilling programs are warranted across all showings. Rats/Castle showing has returned highly anomalous copper values in shallow drilling of a small portion of large mag Key anomaly.
