Basic Set Up & Rules Bobsleigh SPORT •The Aim is to gather as many beanbags as possible by the end of the race. •Teams start at the back of the wall, when the video starts they get into their bobsleigh (between the cones) ASAP. Fastest team gains a beanbag •Bean bags are gained by running into the ‘box’ picking up a bean Bean bag then re-joining the back of VIDEO Bags the bobsleigh for your partner to box repeat. •While team are watching the video, on a corner ALL players must tilt to the side. Any team that doesn't ‘tilt’ gets a bean bag taken away •First place 100 points, second place 50 points and third 25 points What equipment do I need? Bean Bags, Projector (to play the bobsleigh video), cones
Basic Set Up & Rules Curling SPORT •The Aim is to get your bean bag closest to the middle of the target as possible •Player stands behind the line and pushes (one push!) their beanbag along the floor. •Each team/person has 3 beanbags to throw. Person closest to the middle wins one point / game (players can hit oppositions beanbag out of the area) •First team to get to 5 points wins the match •First place 100points, second place 50 points and third place 25 points How to make it harder.... •Smaller target •Target further away What equipment do I need? Basic Set Up & Rules Ice Hockey SPORT •6 a-side dependant on space available •The aim is to hit the ball into the opponents goal (1 point per goal) •Players can dribble the ball when moving and pass using a stick •The Goalkeeper is the only player on each team who can touch the ball with their hands and feet (or have a small goal and GOAL GOAL no goal keeper) How to make it harder... •Add in an area at each end and if a goal is scored from outside that area 3 points are awarded •Can only pass backwards What equipment do I need? Measurement is then taken. •Every Jumper from each team has one attempts, the whole team scores are then added together •First place 100 points, second place 50 points and third 25 points. SPORT Biathlon Basic Set Up & Rules •Teams of four •Player runs around obstacle course with two ‘shooting/throwing’ areas and one 20 second speed bounce •Team to finish first is the winner •Player cant move on past the JUMP throwing area until the beanbag JUMP is through the target •First place 100 points, second place 50 points and third place Throw 25 points How to make it harder... •Harder obstacle course Bounce Speed •Target further away •Hang the targets up Throw What equipment do I need? They then run back to MAT their team and high five their partner for the next person to go MAT •First place receive 100 points, Finish line second place receive 50 points and third place receive 25 points MAT MAT What equipment do I need? Basic Set Up & Rules Freestyle Skiing SPORT •The aim of the game is to finish the race first or/and be awarded points for creative jumps •The game will have two jumps within the race •100 points for winning , 50 points for second in the race 25 points for the best Finish line jump. •First jump is just a hurdle, second jump you have to clear a 1m distance (marked out with cones). The School Sport Partnership will judge the winners by evidence provided by the school . Such as photos, reviews, films and whatever else you can think of to show the SSP how successful your Winter Olympic event was!
