VOLUME 12: 18 APRIL 2019 SH NETBALL AND HOCKEY TOURNAMENT We are ever so grateful that the weather was relatively kind to us this past weekend and that our SH Tournament was able to go ahead without too many disruptions. Unfortunately, Hermanus pulled out due to the volatile situation on the roads last weekend, and we understand their decision to do so. Congratulations to all our players for the manner in which you conducted yourselves both on and off the field. True sportsmanship skills were displayed, and we received a number of compliments from strangers about the behaviour of our children and the quality of their play. A huge highlight this year was the fact that all our netball teams ended up in medal positions. We are delighted with our girls’ progress and we thank our coaches for the wonderful work they are doing. Special thanks to our SH Families who assisted us by either donating treats for the pavilion or giving of their time to serve in the tuckshop or pavilion, your assistance was most appreciated. Thank you too to our special Guild Committee for the huge part that you all played in the success of the tournament. An event such as this one could not be possible without our special 1Team approach. Very well done, Everyone!

The JP saw a white tail go past Cloetenburg and the JP got very excited. Mrs. Hugill tapped each of the JPs heads and the JP got very excited to hunt all over again. When all the JP were behind Cloetenburg the Hunt started and the JP found lots of eggs. On a scale of 1-10, the JP was at 10 on the scale for excitement. On the way back to class the JP ate their Easter-Eggs and threw their packets in the bin. (Written by Olivia Castleden).
