WELCOME WELCOME TO THE RAINBOW SCHOOL PROGRAMME BOOKING PROCEDURE There is nothing more refreshing than spending a fun day in the snow. Booking is easy, just follow the steps below. Each step is outlined on the following pages. Afternoon lesson (If available) $30 (save $25) Late and/or significant changes in numbers booked must be notified within 4 days of the booked date. An invoice will be raised and sent 3 days prior to the booked date for the full amount confirmed. Any additional items will be invoiced on the day. Deposits will be fully refunded and invoices credited if field is closed on your confirmed day and an alternate day is not booked. 2
STUDENT PACKAGES & WHAT TO BRING STUDENT PACKAGES WHAT TO BRING • All student packages include 90 minutes of instruction. • All children need to know their running shoe size, younger ones should have it written on their hand before they leave in the morning • Beginner lessons start at 10am. • Items of clothing should be marked with the children’s names • Intermediate and advanced lesson start times will depend on the total numbers and ratio of abilities. • Woollen or polyprop underwear and pants • Snowboard lessons are not available to primary school learner students (year 1-6). • Waterproof jacket and trousers • A complimentary Adult Day Pass is available for group leaders at a ratio of 1 • Thick socks (only one pair needed for ski boots) complimentary pass for every 20 student packages. • Gloves or mittens (waterproof if possible) • All students who complete any programme including a lesson will be awarded with a • Warm hat Certificate of Achievement. The Gift Shop on the mountain sells essential items (goggles, sunglasses, hats, gloves etc). Lesson only $22 Because of the altitude, cold temperatures and the energy expended it is essential that Toboggan hire $10 students stay hydrated during the day. The Rainbow Mountain Café has a variety of hot and Rainbow Shuttle (from bottom carpark, return) $15 cold food and drinks available for purchase. SAFETY, FUN AND LEARNING At Rainbow, we take your safety and the safety of all our visitors seriously. For this reason AFTER YOUR VISIT we require all our skiers and snowboarders to respect and follow the: Rainbow Sports Club trusts that you enjoyed your snow sports experience. These rules apply at all times while at Rainbow Ski Area. Additionally, all skiers and snowboarders must obey instructions given by Rainbow staff. Following this code helps ensure all slope users enjoy their time at Rainbow. While at Rainbow Ski Area, the conduct and behavior of students is the responsibility of their respective Schools, Teachers, and or parent-helpers. 6
