SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
JANUARY 2021
In this Minecraft session, participants (Ninjas) will have
the opportunity to explore, create and navigate their way
TUESDAY, 12 JANUARY through the game, in addition to experiencing varied
challenging builds. This workshop is for Ninjas of any
MINECRAFT CLUB WITH ability with the educational game, where they will have the
CRAFTDOJO (AGES opportunity to expand their knowledge through supportive
peers and Club Senseis. All Ninjas in this session will

In this workshop, participants will be decorating the cutest

Using toasted coconut for the sand mixture, and fondant
SANDCASTLE CAKE for the thongs and other elements, participants will create

shoes and bring an apron for a morning of decorating fun.

Inspired by the beautiful warm weather and beach,
TUESDAY, 12 JANUARY this Summer Art Piece ‘Footprints’ workshop will have
participants creating an acrylic A3 art piece using MDF
SUMMER ART PIECE board. They will paint an ocean scene, add a beach
‘FOOTPRINTS’ WITH umbrella, towel and surfboard, and then add their own
footprints on the beach/sand before applying shells. Karin,
KARIN FROM FUSION who has a passion for art, will guide and allow your
CRE8TIVE (ALL AGES) cre8tivity to shine in this workshop! Cost: $40.00

The qualified instructors from Dynamic Krav Maga (DKM)
in Willetton are joining us these holidays with their Schools
TUESDAY, 12 JANUARY Self Defence Program. Participants will learn the basics
of how to protect themselves from common threats in the
SELF DEFENCE WITH appropriate manner. The program is based on the KMG
DKM SELF DEFENCE, Krav Junior syllabus meaning it’s fun, simple and practical
self defence. Workshop content includes anti-bullying
FITNESS AND FUN (ALL and reporting strategies, defending against punches/
AGES) grabs, basic techniques based on gross motor skills,
including punching/kicking kickshields, breakfalls/rolls,

setting to get from a start point to an end point as quickly

skills or perhaps you want to travel after you finish school?
BARISTA FOR YOUR Led by one of Barista HQ’s master barista trainers, this
CV WORKSHOP WITH workshop will have you operating a commercial espresso
machine while applying safety techniques in this interactive
BARISTA HQ PERTH - half-day workshop. All ingredients and equipment
(AGES 13- 17) provided. A Certificate of Completion for your CV will be

Through a personality quiz, participants will identify
behavioural traits that influence their money habits. They
will also recognise how mindsets influence behaviour.
WEDNESDAY, 13 JANUARY In addition to this, participants will be introduced to a
complete financial framework which incorporates the
FUNDAMENTAL CENTS present and future. This framework provides an overview

insurance and investment. Finishing off with an interactive

participants learn basic employee rights and develop

WEDNESDAY, 13 JANUARY Join the latest Escape Room craze! What is this Escape
Room about? Adam, Olivia, Thomas and Jennifer are
JUNIOR ESCAPE ROOM cleaning up the games attic. Between all the accumulated

A faultline cake is an art of filling the crevices in the
M & M FAULTLINE cake (with M & Ms). Participants will spend the morning

Whilst this cake looks elaborate, it will also taste delicious!
