Be a part of Chrysalis history as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary Chrysalis
Butterfly Ball. Gather at a private estate for an unforgettable event that has
raised more than $18 million since 2002 to help propel the organization’s
mission of providing Southern Californians with the support needed to
change their lives and interrupt cycles of poverty and homelessness.
The Butterfly Ball gives the spotlight to Chrysalis clients who are working to
make their lives and our community a better place as well as leaders who are
making a difference in film, television, music, art, and business.
Being the founder and a co-chair of the annual Butterfly
Ball has been such a gift to me. Over the past 20 years, I’ve
had the opportunity to witness the phenomenal work of
this organization first-hand, and seen so many of our
clients get jobs and transform their lives.

Chrysalis serves people navigating barriers to the workforce by offering
a job-readiness program, individualized supportive services, and paid
transitional employment. The organization empowers its clients on their
pathway to stability, security, and fulfillment in their work and lives.
Since 1984, Chrysalis has served more than 77,000 individuals at its five
centers and locations throughout Southern California. In 2021, more
than 1,500 Chrysalis clients secured employment while participating
in Chrysalis’ program and more than 1,600 participants worked a
transitional job with the organization’s employment social enterprise.
Chrysalis is literally our extended family now.
Their mission to change lives through jobs is not
just a slogan. It is a concrete fact. It is our story.
