> PASTOR’S LETTER MAY 15th 2022 5th SUNDAY OF EASTER The very first people to receive Holy Communion were the Apostles, who partook of the Sacrament when the Lord Jesus instituted it at the Last Supper. How fitting it is, then, that we hear about the Last Supper in the Gospel passage at Mass this weekend (Jn 13:3135) because this Sunday at the 10:30 Mass two of our young parishioners will them- selves receive the Holy Eucharist for the first time! We offer heartfelt congratulations to Madison Gaza and Liam McElroy on the occasion of their First Holy Communion!. PLEASE REMEMBER IN YOUR PRAYERS For the better part of the past two years Madison and MADISON JADE GAZA Liam have been attending Religious Education classes here every Sunday morning (most classes were inperson, LIAM McELROY although occasionally some were held via videoconference As they receive The Body and Blood on our parish link to Google Classroom).
