The Saint Ambrose Society
The Saint Ambrose Society is an outreach ministry which strives to live out our gospel values
by serving the poor through the Corporal Works of Mercy.
This ministry requires many volunteers who are willing to help in a variety of ways.
The volunteer schedule fluctuates based on the needs of the organizations we serve.
Volunteers are scheduled accordingly and on a rotating basis.
How can you help?
1. Preparing food in our school cafeteria and Church Hall for our meal’s programs
2. Serving food in various homeless shelters and soup kitchens
3. Assisting in the collecting, sorting and distribution of clothes for our clothing pantry (Refresh & Renew)
4. Assisting in the collecting, sorting and distribution of women’s hygiene kit items
5. Assisting with our home maintenance repair program

Refresh & Renew
20 families from Afghanistan will be arriving in or near our neighborhood this month. They are
bringing their families to the safety and blessings this country has to offer! House of Goods is
asking our help in providing toiletry items. Soap/body wash, shampoo, toothpaste/
toothbrushes, ladies hygiene items and most requested-deodorant. If you can help, please
leave these items in the south vestibule as you enter church and we will send them, along with
summer clothing, for their families and help make their transition a little easier.
We are available to accept your donations at the church garage each Monday morning
from 8:30 until 11:00 a.m. If another time is more convenient, contact Bonnie by text at
