A WARM WELCOME FROM OUR DIRECTOR OF AUCTIONS A very warm and festive welcome to our seventh and final catalogue of 2021 for our auction sale on the 16th of December! As the photo suggests, we have a couple of things to celebrate this month! Firstly, the Strettons Auctions team has grown, with Steven Cane joining us from our Commercial Property Management division as an Auction Surveyor; I am delighted that Steven has decided to join us in Auctions. His “can do” attitude and willingness to learn will ensure that he is a positive force within our team for many years to come. Along with Akiva Levin, Steven’s appointment secures the next generation of Strettons auction success and with their help, I am sure that our department will continue to grow and develop. Secondly, someone who will be very well known to many of you is Sam Harborne, who has been promoted to Associate Director. Not only is Sam a brilliant surveyor, he has been instrumental in generating new business and has also worked hard on promoting the Strettons auction brand, as well as taking a leading role in mentoring some of our junior colleagues within the auction team, so I am sure that you will agree that his promotion is incredibly well deserved.. I am sure you’ll all join me in welcoming Steven to the team and congratulate Sam on his promotion. As those who watched the October auction will know, it Our December sale will once again be live streamed, and I was another good day on the rostrum; with 87% of the should remind you that we will only be accepting remote lots offered being sold at a really pleasing average of 14% bids.
