L C O M E WE Welcome to Race 2, Yellow gum park - plenty gorge, Sunday 19 july If you joined us at Race 1 of the Series then you will have revelled in the crisp weather, flowing trails and friendly atmosphere at Studley Park. If this is your first Salomon trail race then you are in for a memorable experience as you and nearly 1,500 other runners take to the trails around Plenty Gorge. Race 2’s location boasts an extensive network of trails all passing through beautiful eucalypt bushland that’s intersected by the winding Plenty River - making this a trail runner’s paradise. Add in some friendly Aussie wildlife such as kangaroos, echidnas and galahs and you’ll soon forget you’re in the city! The long and medium courses cross the Plenty River on at least two occasions, adding to the adventure aspects of the race (remember to bring a spare pair of shoes for the way home!). We thank Salomon - naming rights sponsor of the Salomon Trail Running Series - and our other sponsors and event partners who help bring the races to life. Make sure you check out the ‘Social Trails’ section of the Event Program to share the trail running love and you could win some great prizes! Please read through the following EVENT PROGRAM which provides you with all you need to know about Race 2. For any questions, please contact us at Rapid Ascent on 03 5261 5511 or email info@rapidascent.com.au – we are happy to help!
