Introduction As part of the COVID-19 vaccination roll out, all Victorians aged 16 and over are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. All early childhood education and care (ECEC) staff are encouraged to make a vaccination booking as soon as possible and help keep our community safe. It is important for the ECEC community to have relevant and up-to-date information about COVID-19 vaccines, and to know that the vaccines approved for use in Australia are free and very effective at preventing serious illness and loss of life from COVID-19. If you have any questions or concerns you can talk to a GP, pharmacist or to a senior and experienced immuniser at our state-run sites. We have put together this communications kit for you to share information about COVID-19 vaccines with the ECEC community. This pack provides a range of materials such as social media content, a poster, web banners, newsletter copy and FAQs and other informational resources to help stakeholders make informed decisions about their vaccination. It also provides helpful links to various Commonwealth and State Government information resources about the vaccination program. Please share and distribute these materials among your stakeholders to help encourage greater vaccine uptake. If further questions or concerns arise that are not appropriately covered in this pack, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Department representative in your area to provide feedback. Thank you for your support and efforts to reach 1 million vaccine doses by 19 September 2021.
