It was neglected for a number of years due to its high cost but has recently seen a return. Art suppliers today offer several great inexpensive substitutes for real gold. There are several metallic colours now available: gold, copper, silver, can be chosen to suit your ideas and personal colour palette. This workshop offers you an opportunity to play with these traditional materials in a contemporary way, adding a ‘touch of gold’ to your painting. Create a medium size contemporary landscape painting on canvas using acrylics and applying ‘gold’ dust on top of your composition, adding an extra element to your piece of art.
