There are many great reasons why Blues on Broadbeach has earned an international
BEAUTIFUL reputation as a terrific celebration of blues music. But I like to think the key factor is that
it is quintessentially Gold Coast!
Coming off the full heat of summer we can keep our cool with fresh sea breezes and at

some of our performance areas – there are 17 of them! – the surf provides a rhythmic
backbeat all of its own. Brilliant!
Even so, audiences want great music and Blues on Broadbeach provides outstanding
talent from home and around the world. Every year I find myself saying: Wow, how did
PERFECT

Since 2002, the line-up of stars who have created indelible memories for so many fans has
been exceptional. And I know it’s only going to get better. Just you wait!
Over four days and nights of giving fans what they want – and then some – Blues on
THE NEXT Broadbeach has become one of the largest festivals in the nation. I love it.
And what’s not to love? There’s as much free entertainment as you
could possibly hope for, a mouth-watering array of food and drink
to enjoy, terrific facilities and all set among some of the best beach
scenery in the world.
Most of all, I love that Blues on Broadbeach has such a positive
vibe and it’s wonderfully family-friendly. So, come along once
again or try it for the first time.You’ll take home memories
you’ll never want to forget. It’s that good. I hope to see
