                ONE OF A KIND TRIP TO PICKITY PLACE
      Tuesday, May 23, 8:45am departure. $107.00/per person
 Coach bus to eclectic Mason, NH to discover a hidden treasure in the
                  middle of the woods - Pickety Place.
   Enjoy a delightful gourmet luncheon in a cozy 1786 cottage. Menu
  includes freshly picked ingredients from their own gardens! Visit the
bookstore filled with a wide selection of readings from Little Red Riding
 Hood and the Red Riding Hood Museum. Walk the grounds and shop
               the Parker Gift Barn. Sure to be a fun day.

GENERATIONS MUSIC TOGETHER
                    THURSDAYS, APRIL 13 TO JUNE 15, 4:00-4:45PM
                    AT THE SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER
The Music Together Generations class is a mixed-age family class with a
twist: the class community is expanded to include elder participants!
"Grandfriends" and little ones will come together to play along with simple
musical instruments provided and song.
Led by Music Together instructor, Sharon Morton.
Participants should be able to attend most of these sessions to best benefit

 BOOK CLUB
Thursdays, 3:00-4:00pm | Facilitator: Larry Lariviere
Books lovers take note: we are starting a Book Club. Come to share
about a favorite book you have read, are reading, or come to hear
about others you may be interested in. Potential to do book themed
activities as a group. Led by one of our newest volunteers, Larry. Larry

BEGINNER WATERCOLOR - EXPLORING NATURE

Fridays 10:00am-12:00pm, April 14 through May 26 (no class May 19)
In this six-week session we’ll review watercolor techniques to create
aspects of nature, specifically, rocks, trees and flowers. Understanding the
characteristics of the physical world and how to depict them using
watercolor will be helpful in your landscape painting journey.

IT'S A WRAP! FRAME MAKING
Thurs, May 11, 1-3:30pm
Instructor: Karen Rosania, Oliveteal Arts
Come make a beautiful wrapped picture frame for yourself
or a loved one. You will have access to a variety of stunning
fabrics and trims for your frame. Come join the fun! Bring
your favorite 4x6 photo and Karen will help with the
framing. Cost $15 and all materials included.

ALZHEIMERS CAREGIVER GROUP IN MAY
Starting May 4 - First Thursday of the month. 2:00 to 3:30pm
Facilitator: Dick Chamberlain
This free group is open to any caregivers looking to share experiences
and support in a safe and inclusive environment. Group facilitator
Mr. Chamberlain has 9+ years experience with Alzheimer's caregiver
groups between Portsmouth's Wentworth Connections Alzheimer's
Adult Day Care Center and Families First Health Center. No RSVP
needed, just drop-in.

              Grief Support Group
6 Wednesdays; May 10 - June 14 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM
Grieving the loss of a loved one is universal, but for each of us
individually it is a unique experience. If you have lost a spouse,
partner, parent, or family member then this grief group can offer an
opportunity for healing, education of the grief experience, and the
chance to interact with others who are also grieving. Meetings are a
combination of conversation, education, and exploration of the
challenges you face as you grieve. Max 10 participants.
Attendance for the entire 6-week program is required.

NILLA  -  THERAPY      DOG    EXTRAORDINAIRE

12PM (about 40-45 minutes)
Our favorite friend, Nilla, is back, along with her
caretaker, Karen. Nilla is a certified therapy dog and can
help melt away stress with a few pats.

NEW IN 2023: TRIP CANCELLATION/ REFUND POLICY
For all trips in 2023, refund requests must be submitted in writing (or
email) and will be granted up until 2 weeks before the start of the
program. Refunds are issued in the form of a check and usually take 2 to 3
weeks to process. If a request is made within two weeks prior to the start
of the program, refunds will only be given for medical reasons or if the
senior center is able to fill the spot with another participant.

For Royal Tours (Stacy Fenerty) Trips - we will be adhering to Royal Tours
policy. If a person cancels and their space is filled with a replacement,
they will be refunded. Otherwise, cancellations received within 30 days
prior to the trip will not be refunded, unless they have purchased
insurance, which guarantees a full refund, within 30 days after the trip.

For day trips with our Recreation Van - in the event of cancellation for any
reason for the smaller amount fee day trips of $5-$10, we will credit your
account for a future trip or program if you cannot attend.

 SATURDAY COFFEE HOUR
 Senior Lounge open on Saturdays for drop in coffee,
 wifi and social time. We have music available to
 listen to also or bring your own CD or record.

DEVICE HELP WITH JOHN ON SATURDAYS

30-minute appointment slots, max of 2 help appt/month to allow others
to sign-up. 1:1 device help is for basic questions about your phone or
laptop. Or maybe you have questions about Facebook or Instagram. Or
would you just like to turn off notifications? While we can't do
everything, we certainly can try to help.

April 21: Driving Miss Daisy (1989, PG) An old Jewish woman and her African-
American chauffeur in the American South have a relationship that grows. Starring
Morgan Freeman, Jessica Tandy, and Dan Aykroyd. 1 h 29 min.
April 28: The Magic of Belle Isle (2012, PG) Directed by Rob Reiner, this is a comedy
and drama that tells a story of Monty Wildhorn, an alcoholic novelist of Westerns
who has lost his drive. His nephew pushes him to summer in quiet Belle Isle and he
begrudgingly befriends a newly single mom and her 3 girls. Starring Morgan
Freeman, Virgina Madsen and Madeline Carroll. 1 h 49 min.
May 5: The Queen (2006, PG-13) After the death of Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II
struggles with her reaction to a sequence of events nobody could have predicted.

May 12: The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014, PG) The Kadam family leaves India for
France where they open a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory's

May 19: The Leisure Seeker (2017, R) A runaway couple go on an unforgettable

May 26: The Tempest (2010, PG-13) Shakespear's epic play is translated from page to
screen, with the gender of the main character, Prospero, changed from male to

June 2: The Duke (2020, R) In 1961 Kempton Bunton, a 60-year-old taxi driver steals
