Welcome to the 2022 Hybrid L’Arche Auction Tacoma’s best party is coming to you live and in-person, and online as well! We are so glad you are joining us for online bidding and our live event. We are ready to renew our connections with you through our 2022 auction theme: Weaving Connections. Item donors and underwriters have been generous once again, and the Auction Committee has prepared wonderful packages for bidding. Our Live Auction features some perennial favorites, and a new twist or two. And our program will connect you with the core of what matters most to all of us: mutual relationships forged across time and difference. Enjoy the friendly competition of the Silent Auction and get ready for some exciting moments during the Live Auction, all while knowing your dollars are going to support a great cause. General Rules All sales are final and payment is due prior to leaving the event tonight (ExpressPay fulfills this obligation). There will be no exchanges or refunds. In all cases of dispute, the decision of the judges is final. All items are sold “as is.” Values set on auction items are estimates only based on Fair Market Value provided by donor. L’Arche Tahoma Hope neither warrants nor represents and shall in no event be responsible for conditions of property. By this purchase, the buyer waives any claims of liability against either L’Arche Tahoma Hope or the donor of property or services, and neither L’Arche Tahoma Hope nor the donor are responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of property or services sold. Please note all restrictions on items or services. Unless a date is specified, all services are to be fulfilled at dates and times that are at the mutual convenience of the donor and buyer within one year of the auction. You must be at least 18 years of age and able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law.You must be 21 or older to purchase and pick up any packages containing alcoholic beverages. See full Silent Auction rules on the Greater Giving website under Terms and Conditions. Live Auction Before the live auction begins, the winner of the “Best of Live” chooses the item wanted. This item is announced and removed from the live auction. When bidding during the live auction, be sure to raise your bidder number high so it can be seen by a spotter. If you are participating virtually, you must be a registered bidder with a credit card on file, and your bidder number and amount must be entered into the online “chat” within the time allotted by the auctioneer. The top bidder receives the featured item as announced by the auctioneer. Raising your bidder number during the live auction or entering a bid in the online “chat” conveys a commitment to pay the amount declared by the auctioneer. 6.
Checking out You are expected to pay for all items you bid on and won before leaving the auction. If you used Express Pay earlier this evening, or registered your credit card for bidding online before the auction, there is no need to check out at the end of the evening. Your charges will be applied to your card, and your receipt will be e-mailed or mailed to you. Charges will be processed within three business days. Don’t forget to pick up any items that are in the room on the way out! You will need to pick up gift certificates at the registration table before you leave.You are also welcome to pick up your receipt if you would like. When can I pick up my items? Items not brought to the venue can be picked up at the L'Arche Welcome Center on Sunday, March 6th from 12-4 pm. Items will also be available Monday, March 7 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Tuesday through Friday that week between 9 AM and 4:30 PM. Any items not picked up by 4:30 PM on Friday, March 11 become the property of L'Arche, unless other arrangements are made. Shipping costs will be added to the cost of any item requested to be shipped. 7.

Each meal course will be paired with 7 different Scotches from different regions of Scotland.
