Inspired by a real event and featuring the Tony®-
nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell,
Broadway’s “Bright Star” tells a sweeping tale of love
and redemption set against the rich backdrop of
the American South in the 1920s and 1940s. When
literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier
just home from World War II, he awakens her longing
for the child she once lost. An uplifting theatrical
journey that holds you tight in its grasp, “Bright Star”
is as refreshingly genuine as it is daringly hopeful.

about an acclaimed actor of the 1930s, William Gillette,
who invites his Sherlock Holmes co-stars to his eccentric

But when one of the guests is murdered, Gillette himself
assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes to track

included a vast array of unique items including
                                                       pottery, paintings, photography, mixed media
and much more. In addition to giving local artists
more public exposure, the exhibits add another
dimension of art education to the community.
