Dress Code and Guidelines Time: 8:00 pm to Midnight Location: Galveston Convention Center at the San Luis Resort Address: 5600 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77554 Remember! Prom is a school event. Students are expected to follow the PHS/PISD Stu- dent Code of Conduct at all times. Students will be disciplined for violations and inappro- priate action. Dress Code for Girls Girls may wear formal evening, cocktail, or party dresses. Strapless dresses are acceptable, as are dresses with bare or open backs. Dress length should be at least mid-thigh. Dresses with bare midriffs, see through material, skirt slits that go above mid-thigh, or that are excessively tight or low-cut are unacceptable. No undergarments should be visible. Everyone must wear shoes at all times while inside any public building. Dress Code for Guys Guys may wear formal dress or evening attire such as a tuxedo or dress suit. Tuxedos and suits should include a dress shirt with either traditional or bow tie. Vests and cummerbunds may also be worn. Canes or walking sticks of any type are not permitted. Everyone must wear shoes at all times while inside any public building. What to Bring Everyone must present a PHS school ID or driver’s license, and a PHS Prom 2019 numbered ticket that is registered in his/her name to enter prom . You may also bring money to purchase prom pictures. See the picture order form in this packet for package prices.

HOW DO I GET THERE? Take Interstate 45 South to Galveston. Take the 61st Street exit and turn right (south). Stay on 61st Street to Seawall Boulevard. Turn left (east) at Seawall Boulevard. The Galveston Island Convention Center is located at 56th Street and Seawall Boulevard on the left (north) side. Underground complimentary parking is available.
