Camping Areas Frankies Lake Main CampField • All lakeside pitches. • 20 acre flat & enclosed grass field • Suitable for tents, caravans & campervans. • Tents Only • 10 x electric hook up points • Separate Car Park Zone • Most suitable for those wanting 'peace & quiet'. • No Electric Hook-Up • Approx. 300 metres from toilet block • Huge space for gazebos, BBQs & Geralds Ponds recreational games and sports • Close to toilet block • Approx. 100 metres from toilet block • 8 x electric hook up points • Suitable for tents, Caravans & Campervans • Whole Area can hired for large groups.
Camping Prices The prices and pitches outlined below are all basic grass pitches. If you would like to have an electric hook-up pitch there is an additional charge of £3 per night & they are all 16 amps supply. Electric Cable is Not Supplied. Tents 2,3,4 man tents £12 per night / £15 per night if not booked in advance 5,6,7 man tents £17 per night / £20 per night if not booked in advance 8 man & over £22 per night / £25 per night if not booked in advance Caravans/motorhome/campervans £17 per night / £20 per night if not booked in advance Gazebo £2.50 per night Geralds Ponds Exclusive Hire £300 weekend / £375 bank holiday weekend Please note: Pup tents are charged as a small tent. We do not charge for dogs or extra cars. We operate a minimum 3 night booking for all electric hook ups & Geralds Ponds hire on bank holidays . It is advisable to prebook your pitch in advance & we require full payment to make a booking. You can book by calling us 01933 665303 or via email. Campsite Rules, Booking Terms & Conditions 1. Strictly No Amplified Music 2. Strictly No Open Fires. 3. BBQs must be elevated off the ground. 4. Registration times are between 12pm & 9pm. Registration must be completed at the Clubhouse prior to pitching up. Please vacate your pitch by 1pm on day of departure. 5. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after dusk. 6. You must be respectful to other campers, the site, its staff & the environment at all times. 7. You are responsible for keeping your rubbish bagged throughout your stay & you must dispose of it in the refuse bin at the toilet block. 8. The minimum age to camp is 21 unless part of a family unit. 9. All dogs must be kept on leads and dog foul must be cleared immediately. 10. Children must be supervised at all times. 11. Driving cars onto the camping areas is strictly forbidden after the hours of darkness. If you wish to use your car after dark you must park it on the roadside. Cars in the main camp field must be parked in the car parking zone. 12. Our Site may be secured during the hours of darkness for site security & the safety of site users. The gates will be open no later than 7am. If you require earlier exit or access, please arrange with the management at least 1 day before. 14. Grendon Lakes Clubhouse is can be hired out for private functions in the evenings at weekends & the bar is therefore not open to campers during these times. Please check with our staff if you want to check when the clubhouse is closed. The clubhouse welcomes campers at all other times. 15. Grendon Lakes reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone deemed unsuitable for the site. 16. Grendon Lakes reserve the right to terminate a campers stay without refund & request that they leave the site if it is felt that they are breaking the rules of the site or acting in an aggressive, disruptive or rude manner. 17. You must provide us with all the names of the people in your party when registering your pitch & you take full responsibility for those people listed. 18. It is your responsibility to check the rules, policies & suitability of our site before you book. 19. Grendon Lakes, its staff & owners accept no liability for loss or damage to persons or property however incurred. You use the campsite & Grendon Lakes site at your own risk & in purchasing a pitch you acknowledge & agree to this.
Campsite Rules, Booking Terms & Conditions continued... Cancellations You are reminded to check the rules, policies & suitability of our site before you book. Once you have booked and paid for your pitch, you must provide us with 48 hours notice in order to cancel your booking. In the event of a cancellation you will be issued with a camping voucher to use the campsite on another date. Please note: Monetary refunds are not provided. We are not obliged to offer you a voucher if you cancel your booking within 48 hours & this is the same if you terminate/cancel a booking once on site. If you have a complaint please refer to the complaints policy. If Grendon Lakes needs to cancel your camping booking, you will be offered a camping voucher or full refund. This will only happen in the event of a major site emergency, flood warning from the Environment Agency or impassable ground conditions. Complaints If you have a complaint about the campsite please report it in writing to the Management on the contact details below: info@grendonlakes.co.uk Grendon Lakes, Main Road, Grendon, Northants, NN7 1JW General site staffs are on hand to help with any minor issues. No staff member is authorised to offer refunds or vouchers. Please be assured that your complaint will be dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Safety Information FIRE If you discover a fire, raise the alarm by contacting the Clubhouse immediately. You are not encouraged to fight the fire yourself. Never put yourself or anyone else in danger. OPEN WATER There are ponds, lakes & brooks all around the site. The position of these areas can be found on the site map. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with them. Swimming is strictly prohibited in all the open water. The site plays host to a number of wild birds, in the interest of their safety & yours, please do not feed or go near them. CHILD SAFETY Please supervise your children at all times If you become separated from your child, please alert the clubhouse immediately. EMERGENCIES Please report to the clubhouse in the event of an accident. We will assist you accordingly. During the clubhouses closed times, please call the campsite warden on the number displayed on your ticket. ROAD SAFETY No vehicles are to drive in or around camping areas except when entering or exiting the campsite & only in the hours of daylight. Please observe a 10mph speed limit at all times.
