Emma's story Olivia’s* daughter Emma* was 6 years old when she was groomed and sexually exploited through an online game called Movie Star Planet. A man gained her trust then threatened her into sending him and other adults sexually explicit images. Then the online grooming moved to sexual abuse. The man threatened to kill her parents if she told them about this. Emma was so afraid that this may happen that she did not tell her mum and dad what was happening. Because of this the online abuse was allowed to continue and this male got Emma to send more images of herself over to him. One day Emma got so upset she told her mum what was happening and the police were called. 16
