® Overseas Adventure Travel 347 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210 Dear Traveler, While we may not be physically able to travel at the moment, the act of planning—or even just dreaming—always gives my spirits a boost. At O.A.T., we’re already planning for the day when we can resume our travels. We’re working closely with our Trip Experience Leaders and regional offices around the world to implement a number of measures to give you greater peace of mind—because your health and safety is our top priority. Inside, you’ll learn more about the NEW specific precautions we are taking, including whispers headsets to support social distancing. I hope this O.A.T. Adventure Travel Planning Guide inspires you to join us on our Antarctic Circle Expedition: Journey through Antarctica Small Ship Adventure, to go beyond the iconic sites and into the true heart of Antarctica thanks to our 98-passenger small ship and groups of just 20-25 travelers (average of 22). Plus, our South American Trip Experience Leader and Expedition Team will reveal their country’s hidden wonders and help us discover its essence like only an insider can. And our local regional office in Buenos Aires is staffed with an experienced team of associates ready to help 24/7 in case any unexpected circumstances arise. Throughout our explorations, we’ll meet local people to get an intimate glimpse into the real Antarctica, not just a surface view. During our explorations in Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, you may meet locals along the way who can share invaluable insight into the local culture. And throughout our cruise to Antarctica, an experienced Expedition Team will provide insight into the region’s wildlife, history, and more. Plus, a portion of our proceeds goes toward the charitable efforts of Grand Circle Foundation—see inside for more details on how your travel dollar helps make the world a better place. We understand that no two people are the same. That’s why more than 80% of our travelers take advantage of the freedom to personalize their experience. Join the 32% of travelers who extend their time abroad. Add the pre-trip extension to Argentina: Buenos Aires, Bariloche & Patagonia, post-trip extension to Argentina: Buenos Aires & Iguassu and Brazil: Iguassu Falls, or both of these extensions to your Antarctic Circle expedition. I hope you find this O.A.T. Adventure Travel Planning Guide helpful. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact one of our Adventure Specialists at 1-800-955-1925. Changing People's Lives One village, one school, one person at a time Dear Traveler, In 1992 we established Grand Circle Foundation, an entity of the Lewis Family Foundation, as a means to give back to the world that had already given us so much. We’ve pledged or donated more than $200 million worldwide to support the education of young people and the preservation of international treasures and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Of course, none of this would be possible without your help. A portion of our proceeds is donated to Grand Circle Foundation—so just as your life will be enriched by the discoveries you’ll make on your journey, you’ll also help to enrich the lives of the people you’ll meet along the way. Thank you for traveling with us, and for helping to change people’s lives. Love and peace, Harriet R. Lewis Chair Grand Circle Foundation Students at St. Mary's Primary School, Hwange, Zimbabwe 12

In this truly unspoiled land, majestic blue icebergs rise from a seemingly endless ocean, whales glide beneath the frosty waters, and leopard seals haul themselves up onto the shifting pack ice. On this two-departure-only expedition, you’ll experience all of these highlights in pursuit of the ultimate Antarctic travel goal: crossing the elusive Antarctic Circle. With 12 nights aboard the 98-passenger M/V Corinthian, you’ll cruise even farther south to a region of Antarctica that few travelers ever see. And, if wind and ice conditions allow, you’ll join the ranks of the brave few who have made the journey across the prized latitude of 66°33´S—the Antarctic Circle—and behold the wonders that await on the other side. And whenever you’d like, you have the freedom to explore more of Argentina on your own: Break off from the group for independent discoveries—like visiting the legendary Buenos Aires opera house, strolling through the Buenos Aires Rose Garden, and more—during free time. Please note: As a member of the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO), we coordinate our Antarctic landings with other tour operators in order to limit our impact on the environment. Your actual Antarctic Circle cruise itinerary depends not only on the availability of landing sites, but also on constantly changing weather, ice conditions, and wildlife-viewing opportunities. Your safety is our top priority; your Captain and Expedition Leader will assess conditions throughout your journey to determine the best route and landing opportunities. If they determine that the Antarctic Circle crossing would be unsafe, we may not have the opportunity to cross.
