Wildschönau Mountain Farm Museum "z`Bach”

Wood Museum of Tyrol

This outstanding museum in Wildschönau was born from the passion of dedicated wood carver and
sculptor Hubert Salcher who had the idea of establishing a timber museum. More than 3,000 exhibits
and artworks are on display, from musical instruments and nativity scenes over elaborate sculptures to
furniture and tools

Lehenlahn Silver Mine

Experience underground fun and adventure in a real silver mine at Lehenlahn Mine near Thierbach in
Wildschönau Valley. Worked from 1790 to the 1860s, the mine was closed in 1861, rediscovered 130
years later, and opened as a tourist historical attraction in 1991.

Augustine Museum

The Augustine Museum at Rattenberg is one of the most charming museums in Austria. It houses a vast
collection of Gothic sculptures, goldsmith’s and silversmith’s works, Baroque art and sacred folk art from
nine centuries to tell the story of Tyrol’s historical and cultural development.

In the early 1930s, the engraver Ferdinand Kisslinger came to Rattenberg and founded the existing
company in 1946. Every year, thousands of guests experience the journey of glass from the furnace to

one of the richest countries in Europe. Once Schwaz was the biggest and most important silver mine in

Tratzberg Castle

almost 100 m2 take you to the furthest stars, planets and galaxies

In this unique place in the whole of Austria you can experience the world from the up side down
perspective. This fully furnished and equipped house makes an incredible impression on everyone who
enters it. And in the garage you can admire a car. The familiar objects suddenly become unknown from
this bat perspective. The law of gravitation does not apply here, everyone can stand on his head and

In addition to the well-known "Haus steht Kopf" there is this new attraction for families.
The tour in the Dino Land Tirol leads you past numerous different dinosaurs. Many of them are able to
move. Their eyes, mouth and claws open and are accompanied by the roar of the primeval dwellers.
Alone for this great technology it´s worth to visit the Dino Land. Perfect for rainy days!

A Stroll through Innsbruck
Visit our capital and go sightseeing. Have a look at the Golden Roof, Ambras Castle, the
Hofkirche with the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I. , or the Volkskunstmuseum, the giant Tyrol
Panorama, Grassmayr bell foundry and many more attractions and sights which Innsbruck has
to offer.

This architectural masterpiece accommodates the giant panoramic painting by Zeno Diemer
from 1896 memorizing the Tyrolean struggle for freedom in 1809. Apart from the 360°

cyclorama and the Kaiserjäger museum the Tyrol Panorama is also hosting the permanent
exhibition “Showcase Tirol”.

anniversary in 1995. Heller’s thematic centerpiece for Swarovski Crystal Worlds was the shape of the

Here, in a world of fantasy inspired and designed by some of the world’s greatest artists, visitors can
believe in miracles for just a moment.

The Zillertal Dairy in Mayrhofen is a traditional family-owned business where visitors are able to view the
cheese making process through windows as part of their visit. Tyrol’s first show cheese dairy provides

out and learn about cheese making through a range of specialist multimedia techniques at 11 terminals.
