Prestige engineering invented the carp-porter barrow
over 20 years ago. This revolutionised the way tackle
was transported to the swim.

Around 15 years ago we invented the first motorised
porter. This was an immediate success, there has been a gradual process of
innovation and improvement over the years. The initial models had a few
teething issues, however the hard learnt experience gained from this has now
resulted in an ultra reliable product with a fully backed up warranty. One of
the main components subject to extreme conditions are the electric
controllers. We pride ourselves on using electronics, manufactured and sealed
to our specifications by an MOD approved company.

The motors and gearbox are UK made exclusively for us to our own
specification. All the axle assembly and running gear are UK made on CNC
machines. We avoid far eastern manufacture on these key components to
                       keep reliability as high as possible. (it would be much
                       cheaper to bring in these far eastern components
                       but, by experience they do not meet our stringent
                       standards). Please note each barrow is hand assembled
                       and tested individually. The electrics are tested one by
                       one under water for water tightness.

The culmination of all this experience is the new 2019 generation of
Power-porters. We are proud to announce the new range, which have the

▶ All electrics in die cast sealed box and tested under
  water individually!!

▶ All power-porters easily folding for compact storage.
▶ All power-porters are compatible with extensive spares and
  Carp-Porter luggage systems. (Spares guaranteed for 5 years minimum).

XTREME POWERKIT
Everything necessary to convert a Big Boy or Triporter barrow into an
Extreme barrow.

6 miles continuous walking.

FAT BOY POWER 24V
This is the same drive as the 24V Pro in a more compact lighter package.

▶ Folds flat for easy storage size folded approx 940 x 660mm
▶ This is the perfect barrow for most anglers.
▶ Triporter rear wheels can be added as optional extra if required.
▶ Drop in bag.
▶ High grip all-terrain wheel.
▶ Battery 2x 12v (24v)

Approx 2 hrs continuous walking around 4 miles continuous walking.
Fatboy power 12V version available same as above but please note this barrow has a single 12v battery. Ideal for lighter tackle and
shorter distance but will need assistance up steep inclines.
