About the seminar
The Institute of Hotel Management, Bhopal (An autonomous body under the
Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India) is organizing a National Seminar on “Re-
introduction of Vegetarian Culinary Approach: A diverse sphere of Indian
cuisine”. Apart from giving a common platform to culinary academicians,
researchers, industry experts, and students to discuss and debate on important
issues of culinary development, our initiatives are to re-introduce the forgotten
food, food-practices, & ingredients and their importance.This is the first annual
national seminar on Indian vegetarian cuisine to be organized in Lake city
Bhopal.

Sub- Themes of Seminar
  Redefining the vegetarian cuisine.
  Impact of vegetarianism in human’s life.
  The holistic approach of Indian vegetarian food.
  Eliminating the limitations of vegetarian food for omni-acceptance.
  The significance of authentic techniques for traditional preparations.
  Amalgamation of the new technique for the modified products.
  Application and innovation of modern equipment for vegetarian food
  Modernization of traditional vegetarian food and pairing with marketing
  viability
  Concepts of veganism in India
  Modern trends.

Abstract Submission
Original research papers on the above-mentioned sub-themes are invited for
the oral or poster presentation in the relevant research area. Interested
participants are requested to submit abstract through email
(conference@ihmbhopal.ac.in) before the due date.

Call of Papers
Original and unpublished research papers are invited from Teachers,
Academics, stakeholders engaged in hospitality industry & related departments,
best practitioner, research scholars and hospitality students across India on the
given themes and sub-themes.

Guidelines for Submission of Abstract/Paper
1. Authors must submit papers based on the themes and sub-themes of the
conference in English or Hindi version.
2. The paper should be original. Authors are required to enclose a declaration
in this regard.
3. An abstract should be within 350 words with keywords. Author’s name,
postal address, e-mail Id, telephone/mobile number, and designation must be
mention.
4. The full paper should be within 2500-3000 words including figures and
tables.
5. Abstract and paper should be submitted using MS-Word, font Times New
Roman for English and Ariel Unicode for Hindi font size 12, and 1.5 line
spacing on A4 size. Only soft copies of the abstract and full-length paper
should be submitted on a before the given dates. Submission of abstract
and full paper in PDF, image format etc. will not be accepted.
6. Abstract and full paper should be submitted through only e-mail
to conference@ihmbhopal.ac.in

* Note: There is no provision for reimbursement of TA and DA for any
participants. However, the accommodation arrangement will be done on
payment basis with prior information.
