               Operating instructions for the moonwalk
START UP: Start the ride by plugging the fan into a 110-volt power supply (requires 20 amps). The
fan must remain on during operation of the ride. Power supply must be within 100 feet of the outlet
using a heavy-duty extension cord – 12 gauge minimum.

RUNNING: Have all riders remove their shoes, eyeglasses and any items from their pockets. Keep
like size people together. If it is an event where people are paying, everyone pays the same amount
and pays before entering the moonwalk.

LIMITS: Each moonwalk has manufacturer guidelines posted on the moonwalk for number of riders
for appropriate age groups. (If not posted, or you have any questions, please call Fun Services®).

KEEPING ORDER: People need to stay approximately two (2) feet away from the opening of the
moonwalk. Do not allow anyone to hang on the netting (inside or out). Once or twice an hour, walk
around the moonwalk to inspect that everything is in order. Make certain that all of the tie-downs are
intact and that there are not rips or tears.

RIDE TIME: Ride time is three (3) from the time that the last person enters the moonwalk. If there is
a long line, reduce the time by 30 seconds or 1 minute.

SHUT DOWN: When the event is over, make sure everyone is out of the moonwalk and then
proceed to unplug the fan. (If Fun Services® delivered the Moonwalk, we will complete the tear down
procedure.) See rolling instructions.

RESTARTING: If the moonwalk begins to deflate, but you still have power, unplug the fan and
reattach the tube to the fan and restore power. If the moonwalk begins to inflate due to the loss of
power, check to make sure the cord is still plugged in to the power source and the fan, or if the circuit
breaker needs to be reset.

GENERAL: Moonwalk must be placed on a clean, solid, level surface away from obstructions. Make
sure that debris is not stuck to the intake of the fan. Also check that the tube is free of any large
kinks.

FOLDING: Unplug, unhook tube from the fan, open zippers and/or vents. (Deflate time is
approximately 10-15 minutes.)

TROUBLE SHOOTING:
If unit seems soft or spongy, check:
     • For kinks in the air tube
     • To make certain fans are plugged in and operating properly
     • That all vents are closed
If the unit has no power:
     • Check the power source
     • Check the circuit breaker (often the problem)

anchor to the ground at a 45 degree angle with the head pointing away from the moonwalk

the straps to attach the anchors to all the double-loops as provided in specific areas on the
   base of the moonwalk unit.

   adequate weight for the anchor.

8. Plug the blower into the closest properly grounded (GFCI) 110v outlet only after you

(approximately 2 minutes) until the inflatable is fully inflated and the equipment and all part
have been examined for potentially unsafe conditions before letting children in the inflatable

   the inflatable

2. Disconnect the air tube from the blower and untie the second air tube. Let both air tubes lie
