Page 1 of 5 2021 Wood Stove Exchange Program The Bulkley Valley Lakes District Airshed Management Society wants you to be warm, healthy and efficient heating your home this year and in the future. This means making an informed choice for heat, seasoning your wood, installing, maintaining and repairing your home heating appliances. Refer to the wood stove exchange program as WSEP. We have rebates and resources to: - move from an uncertified wood burning appliance to a qualified appliance - move from an old EPA certification to a 2021 EPA certification - move from an eligible stove, fireplace, boiler or furnace to a qualified appliance - build a woodshed, provide tips on seasoning, storage and more on wood - repair and maintain a qualified heating appliance - assess a home, investigate and recommend a qualified heating option, we take referrals and we’ll help you thru it! - build a cheap home air filter - install, use or understand air quality monitors and readings Conditions apply: 1. Old appliances need decommissioning and/or recycling. 2. Standards are listed on the chart on page 2. 3. Rebate values depend on installation choices. 4. Refund program lasts while funding permits. 5. Installations use WETT principles. 6. The Wood Stove Exchange Rebate Form is complete and pics are provided. 7. Only 1 rebate per household. Training, WETT inspected - the Bulkley Valley Credit Untion, BVCU still has zero interest loans for purchasing EPA certified appliances - there are no landfill or recycling depot fees at any location - the BVLDAMS is a non profit society, responsible for implementing the Clean Air Plan of 2012 signed by Bulkley Valley and Lakes District stakeholders in clean air. Conditions • $250 per residence • please provide a picture of the current woodpile or wood shed, before you do anything • please allow us to come, help, take pictures and use the photos on social media or elsewhere • provide us with an invoice for firewood, materials, time or equipment Refer Your Neighbour Does your neighbour need help? Could your auntie use a new woodshed? Does someone you know badly need seasoned wood? Refer to us for anything regarding air quality management.

These stoves are not to be decommissioning. resold! ❏ Resident installs new appliance then gets signatures and details on form. Snap a few pics before and after, send them along with your form. ❏ Email form coordinator@cleanairplan.ca. ❏ Hold ON!
