DAY 1: TUESDAY 6 OCTOBER 2020
The group arrives in Durban (flights & transfers can be arranged separately
if required), and check in at the Protea Hotel Umhlanga Village. Situated
in the heart of the Umhlanga Village you are surrounded by many shops &
restaurants, and a stone’s throw from Umhlanga promenade and beach. This
evening Gerrie will host a welcome dinner at a local restaurant where you will
meet your fellow travellers over a wonderful meal!
Meals: Dinner. Overnight: Protea Hotel Umhlanga.
DAY 2 & 3:
WEDNESDAY 7 OCT 2020, THURSDAY 8 OCT 2020
After an early breakfast we board the coach and begin the 3,5 hours drive to
Jozini Dam, and the Jozini Tiger Lodge.
The Jozini Dam lies in between the majestic Ubombo and Lebombo mountains
on the Elephant Coast and covers over 16 000 ha.
Many have compared it to Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe and it is fast becoming
the mecca of many wildlife enthusiasts as farmers convert vast tracts of land
around the dam back to their virgin bush in the bid to realise a dream to return
this area to its former wild life kingdom.
Here we stretch our legs, enjoy a cold drink (or two) and lunch on the deck
with magnificent views over the dam.

Day 2: Hippo Bay to Nkwazi Bay.
After breakfast we sail back to Jozini tiger Lodge where the coach awaits
