NSU 2021 Message from the Football Development Manager North Shore United Convenors 2021 Auckland City Programme – North Shore United Reserves & Coaches Club position Name Club position Name At the time of writing we are only two days out for the start of the First Kicks, Junior and Community Club Manager Donna Gustafson 13th Grade Convenor Scott Read Youth Season start date. It has taken a lot of effort from many people to get to us to this point. I would First Kicks Convenor Alex Harbour 14th Grade Convenor Scott Read like to say a massive thank you to our superb club manager Donna Gustafson. She works tirelessly behind the scenes, she’s the real engine behind the club, making everything tick smoothly! From Junior Convenor Philip McGivern 15th Grade Convenor Sean Jones renovating coffee machines to replying to 100s of emails a day! So if you do see her around the club in Youth Convenor Scott Read Girls 9th & 10th Karyn Borella her new NSU polo shirt, please do say thank you! Grade Convenor Big thanks also needs to go to our volunteer convenors who give up their time, without getting paid, to Female Football Allister Irving Girls 11th & 12th Catherine Etheredge help organise teams and ensuring they are all set for the start of the season. Without these volunteers, Convenor Grade Convenor we wouldn’t have a First Kicks, Junior or Youth programme. 6th Grade Convenor Scott Maccmorland Girls 13th Fiona Bower Alex Harbour does an outstanding job overseeing the First Kicks Convenors, sorting out all the first Grade Convenor kicks teams ready to go for their games. Phillip McGivern has stepped into the Junior Convenor role 7th Grade Convenor Stephen Gibson Girls 15th & 16th Allister Irving this year and has done a tremendous job overseeing the junior grades and grade convenors. He has Grade Convenor spent many late nights emailing out parents, training details, season dates etc. 8th Grade Convenor Simon Ansley Senior Teams Kieran Spillane I would also like to mention Johnny Lane and Johanna Melhuish for volunteering again to be grade Convenor convenor. You both do an outstanding job and all your hard work is very much appreciated! 9th Grade Convenor Philip McGivern First Kicks Training Maia Scott Scott Read has shifted roles and migrated into the youth section becoming the Youth Convenor. Again & Match Day Manager as always, Mr Efficient he is! Super organiszed, with all teams fully aware of all things ahead. Keiran 10th Grade Convenor Philip McGivern Volunteer Sean Jones Spillane has kindly stepped into the Senior Convenor this year and he is doing a great job ensuring all Co-ordinator the senior teams are organised and set for the season! 11th Grade Convenor Johnny Lane Bayswater Match Day Anna Browning Here is a full list of convenors at North Shore United.
