International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Elected Unopposed As IIW President 2021/22 Name: Ebe Martines Panitteri Club: Padova District: 206 Country: Italy I became an Inner Wheel Member 36 years ago Self respect, respect for the others, tolerance, and since then I have never stopped serving our open-mindedness will be the keys to promote the great Organization with dedication and harmony high objectives of friendship, personal service and as a team member at Club, District, National and international understanding. International levels. My vision is: respect, tolerance and an open-mind I am very proud to have been elected as International on the world. Inner Wheel Vice President. The experience I gained holding several offices will be the necessary background to take on this important role. I will have the privilege to work with Non Districted Present Office held in Inner Wheel Clubs and keep in contact with IW Representatives IIW Vice President: 2020/21 at the UN in the fields of Human Rights, Rights of the Child, Condition of Woman, Family, Elderly, Drugs. Past Offices held in Inner Wheel In 2024 Inner Wheel will celebrate its Centenary Club President: 1989/90, 2003/04 and each Member belonging to the 104 countries Club Vice President: 1988/89, 2001/02, in which our Organization is present, should commit 2002/03 to make it further grow and let people all over the Club Secretary: 1997/98, 1998/99 world know the service IW Members provide on local, national and international levels through Club ISO: 1986/87, 1987/88 effective communication on IIW Website and District Chairman: 2009/10 Social Media. International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Three IIW Vice President Nominees 2021/22 Name: Francine Beij Mos Club: Schoonhoven District: 56 Country: Netherlands Being Board Member 2018/2020 I feel equipped to bring my experience at all IWlevels, my Past Offices held in Inner Wheel economic and legal skills during working life into International Inner Wheel in the position Club President: 1998/99 of Vice-President of the Executive Committee. Club Vice President: 1997/98 Club Treasurer: 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18 I want to support happiness worldwide by creating District Chairman: 2010/11 a strong, modern and global Inner Wheel of which District Vice Chairman: 2009/10 I am proud having been a member since 1981 when District Extension Chairman: 2011/12 I was 29 years old and one of my three daughters was not yet born. Being a working mother with three District ISO: 2009/10 little children, it was difficult to attend all club events National Council President/Chairman: but it was always relaxing meeting fellow members. 2016/17 It was an honour to become president of my club National Council Vice President/ and to realize that work for Inner Wheel is always Vice Chairman: 2015/16 characterized by joyfulness and participation. After I stopped working I became District Chairman. It forces you to think out of the box National Representative and develop yourself by helping others together 2016/17 in friendship. There are many parts in the world we can make the difference. A difference not only International Inner Wheel for the mothers but also for their children being Board Director: 2018/19, 2019/20 the future IW members. I am passionate about this organisation and I believe that it is vital to take steps to prepare IIW for the next 100 years and ensure IW’s continuity for generations to come. We must use all modern communication to let the world know that we are proud to be able to help to improve life of others. We benefit by gaining international friendship; woman will be attracted to IW and help us to more successes. 07
International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Name: Suzanne Robinson Club: St Thomas District: 696 Country: USA I have been an active member of Inner Wheel for over 30 years. I cherish the friendships and the Past Offices held in Inner Wheel worthwhile projects that I have been involved as a member of the Inner Wheel Club of St. Thomas Club President: 1998/99 US Virgin Islands and at the District, National and Club Vice President: 1997/98 International Levels. District Chairman: 2007/08, 2016/17, 2017/18 Just a year ago I was honored as a recipient of the District Vice Chairman: 2006/07 Margarette Golding Award. COVID-19 presents Inner District Extension Chairman: 2011/12 Wheel with unusual and challenging opportunities to serve the world’s population. One significant District ISO: 2003/04, 2004/05 result has been worldwide outreach and increased District Editor: 2003/04, 2004/05, 2005/06 attendance at meetings and events by utilizing the National Association President/Chairman: Zoom format. We must be creative as we channel a 2009/10, 2010/11 portion of our service to those that are experiencing National Association Vice President/ the loss of loved ones, job and life changing situations. Vice Chairman: 2008/09 Clubs should continue to focus and enhance National Association Editor: 2005/06 educational programs, help the economic crisis as it pertains to health, food and clean water for families National Representative and prepare to assist when disasters occur. We must continue to promote our story on social media 2009/10, 2010/11 as we focus on Friendships, Personal Service and International Understanding. International Inner Wheel Board Director: 2013/14, 2014/15 My goal is to continue to nurture and increase membership as we make a life changing impact on the lives of women and children. As we approach our 100th Anniversary celebration in 2024, may our successes continue to multiply and bring more joy, love, fun, smiles, laughter and peace into the world. 08
International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Name: Zenaida Farcon Club: Marikina District: 380 Country: Philippines I have come to love and know IW’s history, organizational structure, objectives, mission, Past Offices held in Inner Wheel constitution and ways of working at the very young age of 28. In a span of 32 long years, Club President: 1990/91, 1996/97 I have meticulously acquired experience at the Club Vice President: 1995/96 club, district, national and international levels. Club Secretary: 1989/90 Currently, I am serving as IIW Board Director District Chairman: 1994/95 for my second term. District Secretary: 1993/94 As a practicing certified public accountant for 38 years District Treasurer: 1992/93 now, my experience will be valuable in improving the District Editor: 1991-1992 Financial Management System of IIW. National Council President/Chairman: 2007/08 I envision IIW as a sustainable Global Organization, National Association Vice President/ experiencing robust growth, responsive and relevant Vice Chairman: 2000/01, 2001/02 to the diverse needs of women of all ages, resilient and adaptable to the new normal. National Association Secretary: 1994/95 I envision IIW to expand its reach to Young Girls aged National Representative 12-17 through the formation of IW Youth Clubs 2003/04 in high school and college levels. This will create awareness about our service mission, thus inspiring International Inner Wheel the girls to cross over to IW Clubs as regular members when they reach 18 years old and above. Board Director 2019/20, 2020/21 I envision IIW actively promoting our service projects on Social Media, thereby attracting the New Generation to become members. Social Media will be a most effective channel for monitoring projects and will serve as Inner Wheel’s Marketing platform. I envision an IIW Global Management System that will standardize and firm up the IIW Brand of leadership and culture building for the formation of competent, visionary and agile leaders who can lead with understanding and clarity in the midst of these complexities of the “ New Normal”. 09
International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Elected Unopposed as IIW Treasurer 2021/22 Name: Sarita Lunani Club: Eluru District: 206 Country: India A focused, results-oriented leader driven with skills in revenue acceleration, financial planning and management. A graduate in Economics and Child Past Offices held in Inner Wheel Psychology, I have extensive experience in managing Club President: 1998/99 the financials of my family run business with 3,000 employees. I also run my own boutique. Club Secretary: 1997/98 As a passionate member for 24 years, have served Inner Club Treasurer: 2001/02 Wheel in various capacities and added to its growth. I want District Chairman: 2008/09 to utilize my passion to work as IIW Treasurer as I have the necessary skills, experience and exposure. District Vice Chairman: 2007/08 District Secretary: 2004/05 My notable strengths are in financial management, business acumen, analytical thinking, networking and District Treasurer: 2005/06 communication. As National Representative, I made District Extension Chairman: 2006/07 Association treasury richer using my expertise in negotiating, adopting sustainable cost control measures. District ISO: 2002/03 I prepared the blueprint and budget for 18th IIW District Editor: 2002/03 Convention, Jaipur (India). Hosted Association (Triennial) Conference with record attendance of 2500 delegates National Association President/Chairman: from 17 countries. 2012/13 My vision: National Association Vice President/ Vice Chairman: 2011/12 To make Inner Wheel more purposeful and vibrant, focusing National Association Secretary: 2009/10 on the following: National Association Council Member: • Work closely with IIW EC, Board Directors as a team and 2009/10 with National Representatives to increase number of clubs and members worldwide. As NR, I added 51 clubs, 1561 members. National Representative • Enhance Inner Wheel branding further by using social 2012/13 media and other digital tools. In 2020, hosted and moderated the first ever Global Webinar where 28 countries participated. • Ensure meticulous financial management, adhere to the highest standards of integrity, accuracy, transparency and closely monitor foreign exchange rates. • Follow the latest techniques and tools in accounting; online banking transactions to simplify the procedure in maintaining accounts at all levels. 11

International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Name: Yeok San Cheng Club: Ipoh East District: 330 Country: Malaysia & Singapore 2020 has been a time of crisis and isolation. It is the pervasiveness of the Internet that has Past Offices held in Inner Wheel kept us abreast of happenings, moment by moment, in hearing the calls for help from Club President 2013/14 every corner of the world and the heartfelt Club Secretary 2008/09 relief given by Inner Wheel members. Club Correspondent 2007/08, 2016/17 District Editor 2012/13 Let us make more concerted applications of the Internet that Inner Wheel Clubs and International Inner Wheel has already built and take the next steps at international level. • In membership development, let us organise webinars to broaden knowledge and share experiences. • In community service, let’s have a forum of ideas and elevate it to global action. • Let us find common areas and gather global feedback for issues close to our heart so as to facilitate planning and strategy. For over 30 years, I have managed my own printing and publishing company. Although in semi- retirement, I still take pleasure in designing and editing of books and journals, web programming and scripting, and video production. Some of my personal works were in jointly authoring an English-Malay computer dictionary and a few years of Chemistry Cambridge A-level 10-year series, published by Fajar Bakti (now, Oxford Fajar of Oxford University Press). I am currently the web programmer for the websites of Districts 330 and 331. As I humbly offer my service, I wish for the opportunity to gather skilled members who would be willing to help. I see it as a necessary venture as this will augur well in establishing the future of Inner Wheel world wide. 13
International Inner Wheel Election Nominations 2021/22 Name: Praba Raghunandan Club: Giridhi District: 325 Country: India Inner Wheel entered my life in 1989; and since then, it is my passion. IW has evolved and Past Offices held in Inner Wheel I have too. To move with the times, adapt for betterment of the organisation and society, Club President: 1993/94 a key development has been learning the use Club Vice President: 1992/93 and impact of electronic media, upgrading my Club Secretary: 1991/92 designing, editing and writing skills. Club ISO: 2008/09 Today the old adage ‘pen is mightier than the Club Correspondent: 1990/91 sword’ has a wider context. Communication of District Chairman: 2000/01 information has changed monumentally, to include District Vice Chairman: 1999/2000 e-publications, websites, Social media, TV. By using District Secretary: 1991/92 these powerful popular methods we can spread District Treasurer: 1998/99 the Principles Purpose and Projects of IW globally. District Extension Chairman: 2004/05 When Information is power, we cannot harness District Editor: 2004/05, 2005/06 this power without distributing. ‘A picture is worth National Association President/Chairman: a thousand words’ believing in this, I have polished 2016/17 my video editing and graphic techniques. Images National Association Vice President/ motivate others to replicate / participate in similar Vice Chairman: 2015/16 work worldwide. The outside world too gets the National Association Council Member: opportunity to gauge our capabilities, support 2001/02 our cause. Members are enthused, encouraged to extend National Representative 2018/19 their boundaries of assistance by effective motivation. As NR, I initiated a 6000kms Mission on Wheels, before International Women’s Day to promote IW. A Short Film IW in India was made for comprehensive imaging. Print and E Newsletters featured projects and events with data and pictures. Digital literacy and technology helped brand IW India nationally. Facebook was used extensively by clubs even as Newspapers and TV were effective locally. By using our intelligence and talents, each one of us can be the best ambassador of Inner Wheel. 14
