The DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC) initiates, delivers, monitors, and coordinates services that promote the ability of older persons to live their lives in dignity throughout DuPage and nearby counties. The issues our seniors face – like hunger, loneliness and isolation – are often hidden in plain sight. Part of DSCC’s mission is to educate others on these issues and to generate the awareness and support needed to bring about real solutions. While the DuPage Citizens Council is best known for providing seniors with nutritious meals with their “meals on wheels” program, they provide other valuable resources for seniors such as: well-being checks, health and wellness resources, yard clean ups, minor repairs, contractor referrals, pet assistance, friendly visits and phone calls.
