February is Black History Month, and Uber participated in a series of events focused on building community with organizations in the cities we live in and serve. In collaboration with JUMP by Uber, We of Color, and Black at Uber, "Representation Matters" activated WeWork (1460 Mission ) with various activities promoting workplace diversity and inclusion. Together we celebrated community partners and educated allies about the past and present contributions of the African Diaspora. Over 200 attendees enjoyed live music, craft vendors, local eats and community engagement activities.

Chef Simileoluwa plans to bring an assortment of authentic Nigerian dishes inspired by street food from Lagos - her hometown.
