A Message From the Friends of the Library
Looking to support The Friends, but just don’t have the time? We have a new
membership option- the non-voting membership. For $25, you get a Friends
t-shirt, and all the benefits of being a friend, but none of the responsibility. If
you’re looking to volunteer your time, please think about joining the Friends.
We had to raise our used book prices a little bit, but they’re still very affordable.
Stop by our bookshelves and take a look. We’re very happy to sponsor one
of the new little libraries that will be located in Glenwood or Lynwood. We
also enjoyed giving treats to the patrons and pizza to the staff during National
Library Week. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Rummage Sale. Please
remember, all the money we raise goes back into the library. Our meetings are
every other month on the second Wednesday at 1pm.
