Applications are therefore invited from qualified ‘A’ level leavers, and Diploma Holders, for Admission on Private sponsorship scheme to the following programmes for 2020/2021 Academic Year. [1] Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (ITM) [2] Bachelor of Information Systems (ISM) [3] Bachelor of Science with Education a) Biological- (SMB), and b) Physical- (SMP) [4] Bachelor of Business Administration and Management (BBM) [5] Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (ASM), and [6] Bachelor of Education- Primary (BED-P) Eligible applicants are informed that APPLICATION IS ONLINE. Log in to: admissions.muni.ac.ug. Please refer to attached for details about online application procedure, minimum admission requirements, schedule of relevant Diplomas, and programme fees. Upon submission of the online application form, select payment option; either Bank or Mobile Money. The system will automatically generate a payment reference number. Note that only paid up applications will be processed. IMPORTANT: All Diploma holder applicants are REQUIRED to submit photocopies or email scanned copies of the certified copies of Diploma/Degree Transcripts and Certificates by mail on ar@muni.ac.ug. Please note that only accurate/complete and paid up applications shall be processed for admission purpose. Beware that cases of falsification of information/documents, or giving false/incomplete information, whenever discovered; will lead to cancellation of admission. 1.0. Online Application procedure Important: Applicant have an active email account, and a mobile phone number. 1) Log in: https://admissions.muni.ac.ug/ 2) Signup using full name, e-mail and mobile Number. Please note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting documents for your application to be accepted by the system. 3) A password will be sent to both your e-mail and mobile telephone number. 4) The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can easily remember. 5) To fill a form, the applicant clicks on the apply now button displayed on the running scheme. 6) Obtain a payment advice slip by clicking on “Pay for the Form” button and get the reference number, which you will take to the bank. 7) Pay a non-refundable application fee plus bank charge at any Bank branch (NOT Bank Agents) or Mobile Money i) Ugandans and East Africa (Incl. South Sudan): Ug. shs. 50,000 (Fifty thousand shillings) ii) Other Nationals: Equivalent of USD 50. 2.0. Minimum Entry Requirements 2.1. Direct Entry Applicants Eligible applicants MUST possess: 1) At least two (2) principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (U.A.C.E) or its equivalent, and 2) At least five (5) passes at Uganda Certificate of Education (U.C.E) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent. 2.2. Diploma Holders’ applicants Eligible Diploma holder applicants MUST possess: 1) At least a second class or credit diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution, and; 2) U.A.C.E with at least one (1) Principal pass and two (2) subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent, and 3) U.C.E with at least five (5) passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent. 2.3. Applicants for Bachelor of Education (Primary) – BED-P Eligible Diploma holder applicants for Bachelor of Education (Primary) MUST a second class or credit diploma hold a Diploma in Education (Primary) from a recognized institution; with two (2) subjects of specialization. Detailed fees structure can be viewed/downloaded from the Website. 4) The Tuition fees for Bachelor of Education (Primary) programme is UGX. 380,000 per session.
