About Us

Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens
is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and is the historic home
of the founder of the city of San Clemente. Our mission is to
provide programs for all ages in arts, music, history, horticulture,
and literature as a premier Southern California cultural center.
Casa Romantica’s exceptional artistic experiences and idyllic
oceanfront setting enrich the lives of more than 40,000
residents and visitors annually. Our cultural programs are
complemented by numerous free and low-cost arts education
opportunities for children throughout the year, with summer
academies in music and dance as well as children’s concerts,
plays, workshops, exhibition and performance events, and
movement classes that cultivate confidence and creative
thinking from infancy to adulthood.

Casa Cool
Artists
Amanda Castro’s rich, sultry voice and energetic stage presence is
the perfect canvas for reimagining jazz classics and modern day hits
Amanda through the lens of prohition-era jazz.
Castro
Band The Amanda Castro Band is a Southern California Jazz Band
comprised of top musicians from diverse ensambles such as Brian
Setzer and the Disneyland Band.
Backwater Blues Band hails from San Diego and performs exuberant
Backwater blues and rock music. They have been together since 1996 and have have
Blues performed with artists such as John Lee Hooker, Delbert McClinton,
Band Fabulous T-Birds and Tommy Castro. The emsemble is back by popular
demand for their fourth appearance at Casa Romantica.
Blue Breeze Band delivers exciting performances that feature the best of
Blue MoTown, R&B, Soul, Funk and Blues. Their funky and rich harmony work
Breeze together to fill the air with rhythm to make you move.
Band
They have played alongside The Brothers Johnson, The Temptations,
Lakeside, Edgar Winter, Teena Marie, and Evelyn Champagne King.
