2022 MT. HOOD JAZZ FESTIVAL The Mel Brown Trio with Tim Gilson and Jof Lee T he historic Mt. Hood Jazz Festival has returned to Mt. Hood Community College and our community was excited to welcome it home! This festival is a three-day jazz immersion that educates and inspires the jazz audience of today and builds the jazz audience of tomorrow. Rooted in education, the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival welcomes thousands of high school and middle school musicians to our Gresham campus to perform, learn, and grow in their musical endeavors. These students are submerged into an exciting environment of peer performers and professional concerts and masterclasses. The greater East County community is welcomed at all components of the educational festival, including student concerts and masterclasses with professionals. Eight professional community performances are held throughout the weekend, with opportunities for free admission to several of these concerts! Visit www.mhcc.edu/jazzfestival for more information. Be part of the group of businesses and individuals who support the artists, students, and culture in our community!
