      Ans. An area of land that mostly has grasses.             Grassland        Desert

      Q2. What is a Desert?
      Ans. A desert is a place that has very little rainfall.

      Q3. What is a Rainforest?
      Ans. A rain forest is simply an area of tall, mostly evergreen trees and a high amount of
      rainfall.

      Q4. What is a Polar Region?
      Ans. They are cold, windy and have a lot of snow and ice.

      Q5. Which is the construction vehicles used on land?          Rainforest    Polar Region
      Ans. Road roller, Crane, Loader, Bulldozer and cement mixer.

Transport
     Q1. Name the different types of water transport.
      Ans. Houseboat, raft, speedboat, cargo ship, submarine and
      pedal boat.

      Q2. Name the different types of air transport.
      Ans. Airplane, Helicopter, Glider and Fighter Plane.

      Q3. Name the 3 different types of Pollutions.
      Ans. Air Pollution, Water Pollution and Land Pollution.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

Things can be Recycled-
        Paper, soda can, paper bag and books.

        Things cannot be recycled-
        Glass, plastic bags, polystyrene and light bulbs.

Global warming
  • Reduce – smoke from factories
  • Recycle- newspaper
  • Reuse- old cloths
