Moorup, will: 1. Verify that the overwriting methodology has been successful and removed data across the entire mobile device; and 2. Produce a summary certificate containing information that the erasure has been successful, along with data about the device and the standard used. As part of Moorup’s standard buy back service offering, we utilise Cryptographic Erasure (and/or Aperiodic random overwrite as the secondary erasure protocol), as our base erasure standards (included in our Buy Back Pricing). In addition to Cryptographic Erasure and Aperiodic random overwrite, the Blancco platform enables Moorup to apply up to 15 different global mobile erasure standards (utilising different erasure algorithms, with varying number of wipes applied). All erasures are verified and certified through a tamper-proof audit trail, we can provide this information to you in a summary. Moorup can include pricing for higher level erasure standards if required.
