Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: ADVENTURE ROOMS Code: AR Students: Year 11 ONLY Max. Number: 56 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Nicholas Flynn NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. Adventure Rooms. Adelaide's Real-life Escape the Room Game…. Only 30% escape...will you?! A fun and engaging live escape the room experience. Your team is locked in a room with hidden and mysterious objects. With only these objects as clues, you have 60 minutes to escape. What was once so obvious, is no longer as it seems. In Adventure Rooms you must think outside the square. Venue: Adventure Rooms, Level 1, 51-53 Rundle Mall, Adelaide (opposite Myer Centre) Start: Arrive by 9.15am for a 9.30am roll call at Adventure Rooms Dismissal: Between 11.00am and 11.30am (depending on room activity) Activities: Activities include one of the following: The Gaol Break, The Mad Scientist 7 vs 7 Duel, The Speakeasy 7 vs 7 Duel or The Black Queen 7 vs 7 Duel Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. There are no facilities at the venue to purchase drinks or snacks, however there are many locations nearby that students can obtain food from at the conclusion of the activity. Good manners and behaviour is an expectation as we are in a public venue. Safety Requirements: Follow all Adventure Rooms rules and regulations. General ‘safe’ and ‘sensible’ behaviour in such a venue is expected. Suitable clothing and footwear should be worn. Travelling Arrangements: Students will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Adventure Rooms.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: AFL MAX Code: AFL Students: Year 7 Only Max. Number: unlimited STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Aldo Calo NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. AFL Max is the nation’s first immersive footy skills and entertainment centre. The state-of-the-art facility brings together the latest technology and traditional skills development for players and fans of all ages. Soar to new heights on the trampolines of our Aerial Zone, or bounce around the inflatable giants in our Bump Zone. Test your climbing skills and even sharpen up on your kicking, passing and tackling skills. There is something for everyone at AFL Max! Venue: AFL Max, 32 Butler Bvd, Adelaide Airport Start: 8.45am roll call at AFL Max Dismissal: 11.00am from AFL Max Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Drinks and snacks may be purchased at the venue. Good manners and behaviour is an expectation as we are in a public venue. Safety Requirements: Follow all AFL Max rules and regulations. Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: BEACHOUSE Code: BH8 Students: Year 8 Only Max. Number: unlimited STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Paul Flaherty NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. The Beachouse is a Family Entertainment Centre packed with Australian-first and world-class attractions! Activities include the use of water slides, bumper boats, dodgem cars, mini golf and arcade games (excludes prize/ticket games, play castle & train). Venue: The Beachouse, Colley Terrace, Glenelg Start: 8.15am roll call at The Beachouse Dismissal: 10.30am from The Beachouse Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Drinks and snacks may be purchased at the venue. Good manners and behaviour is an expectation as we are in a public venue. Safety Requirements: Follow all Beachouse rules and regulations. General ‘safe’ and ‘sensible’ behaviour in such a venue is expected. Suitable clothing and footwear should be worn. Change of clothes required if intending to use water slides. Travelling Arrangements: Students will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from The Beachouse.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: BEACH WALK Code: BW Students: Years 7 to 12 Max. Number: Unlimited STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Ms Bron Kemp NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity with a minimum $10 donation An 8km walk (or run) from the Henley Campus to Bournemouth Avenue, Tennyson, and then back again. All students who fail to return paperwork will be allocated this activity, as the number of participants is ‘unlimited’. Start: 8.30am roll call in Year 8 courtyard (Turon), Henley Campus Dismissal: 10.30am – 11.15am from Year 8 courtyard (Turon), Henley Campus. Finishing times may vary due to the speed at which students complete the walk Student Expectations: All students must be in the Turon Courtyard, for 8.30am roll call. All students will be required to walk (or run), under teacher supervision, to Henley Beach (down Marlborough Street). Students are expected to be dressed suitably for beach walking or running, but please be aware that no child will be allowed to swim. Students will be expected to have their names recorded at various check-points throughout the walk/run. They will also have an attendance card that must be completed throughout. Students are to walk on the beach and should not venture beyond fences into the protected dune areas. Safety Requirements: Sunscreen, hat, water bottle and appropriate clothing for the weather of the day. Follow teacher instructions carefully, especially while walking to and from the beach. Travelling Arrangements: All students will be accompanied by teachers on their walk to Henley Beach. Students must return to the College at the completion of their walk, for final roll call and dismissal from the Turon Courtyard and should make their own travel arrangements from there. Students will not be dismissed prior to 10.30am.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: BOUNCE (YEAR 9) Code: B9 Students: Year 9 students ONLY Max. Number: 120 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Brent Parfrey NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. BOUNCE Adelaide (Marleston) is a massive indoor trampoline park that provides an adrenaline rush for all ages. Imagine more than 50 interconnected trampolines and giant air bags with slam-dunk arenas, wall-running and dodgeball courts rolled in. Taste the rush of extreme sports and freestyle gymnastics – without the hard landing. It’s all about jumping high and landing soft and safe, whether you’re polishing your aerial tricks or just getting an awesome workout while you warp the laws of gravity. Venue: Bounce Inc, 164 – 168 Richmond Road, Marleston Start: 8.20am roll call. Session commences at 8.30am and concludes at 10.30am Students should assemble outside the venue from 7.45am and await instructions from staff Dismissal: Students will be dismissed from the venue following the conclusion of the session at 10.30am Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity, and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Drinks and snacks may be purchased at the venue. Students will have the use of the facility for a two hour period. Good sportsmanship and conduct is expected. Safety Requirements: General ‘safe’ and ‘sensible’ behaviour in such a venue is expected. Comfortable exercise attire, ie leggings, shorts, t-shirts are required. Special grip socks will be provided for use on the equipment. For WHS reasons, students are unable to bring food or drinks to the venue. These can be purchased at the facility. Travelling Arrangements: Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements both to and from the venue.

Number: 50 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Andrew Rosman NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $30. This activity is open to students from the Henley Campus who are keen fishermen/women and have access to their own fishing equipment. They should also be relatively skilled and independent when fishing. Venue: Grange Jetty Start: 7.00am at Grange Jetty Dismissal: 10.00am at Grange Jetty Student Expectations: Students must have access to their own fishing/crabbing gear, including bait and must obey all Fisheries Laws, as designated on the Jetty. They must also be relatively independent at fishing. Students should also bring snacks/water etc, and must take all rubbish with them when they leave. Do not bring plastic bags. Students are not to use meat/offal in crab nets. Safety Requirements: Sunscreen, hat, water etc, generally appropriate clothing for the weather of the day. Students should also take great care regarding the safety of other students whilst they are fishing. No student will be permitted to swim. Travelling Arrangements: All students make their own travel arrangements to and from Grange Jetty.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: FISHING (SEMAPHORE JETTY) Code: FS Students: Years 7 to 12 Max. Number: 50 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Tim Donovan NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $30. This activity is open to students from the Henley Campus who are keen fishermen/women and have access to their own fishing equipment. They should also be relatively skilled and independent when fishing. Venue: Semaphore Jetty Start: 7.00am at Semaphore Jetty Dismissal: 10.00am at Semaphore Jetty Student Expectations: Students must have access to their own fishing/crabbing gear, including bait and must obey all Fisheries Laws, as designated on the Jetty. They must also be relatively independent at fishing. Students should also bring snacks/water etc, and must take all rubbish with them when they leave. Do not bring plastic bags. Students are not to use meat/offal in crab nets. Safety Requirements: Sunscreen, hat, water etc, generally appropriate clothing for the weather of the day. Students should also take great care regarding the safety of other students whilst they are fishing. No student will be permitted to swim. Travelling Arrangements: All students make their own travel arrangements to and from Semaphore Jetty.

Number: 50 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr A Biggs NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $30. This activity is open to students from the Henley Campus who are keen fishermen/women and have access to their own fishing equipment. They should also be relatively skilled and independent when fishing. Venue: West Lakes (carpark, on the Lake, at the intersection of Trimmer Parade and Military Road) Start: 7.00am at West Lakes (intersection of Trimmer Parade and Military Road) Dismissal: 10.00am at West Lakes (intersection of Trimmer Parade and Military Road) Student Expectations: Students must have access to their own fishing gear, including bait and must obey all Fisheries Laws, as designated at the site. They must also be relatively independent at fishing. Students should also bring snacks/water etc, and must take all rubbish with them when they leave. Do not bring plastic bags. Students are also requested to keep any noise level to a minimum. Safety Requirements: Sunscreen, hat, water etc, generally appropriate clothing for the weather of the day. Students should also take great care regarding the safety of other students whilst they are fishing. No student will be permitted to swim. Travelling Arrangements: All students make their own travel arrangements to and from West Lakes.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: INDOOR SPORTS (SMC HENLEY) Code: IH Students: Years 7 - 9 ONLY Max. Number: 70 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Jack Alberton NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $30. Year 7 to 9 students participate in activities such as Indoor Cricket, Indoor Volleyball and Indoor Soccer. Venue: Founders Hall, St Michael’s College, Henley Beach Start: Students should assemble at the venue at 8.45am for a 9.00am start Dismissal: Students will be dismissed from Founders Hall at 11.00am Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity, and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Students to bring their own refreshments. Students will be expected to participate in as many games as possible. Good sportsmanship is also expected. Safety Requirements: General ‘safe’ and ‘sensible’ behaviour in such a venue is expected. Appropriate footwear and clothing and any protective equipment specific to the sport being played should be worn. All necessary equipment will be provided. Travelling Arrangements: Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements both to and from the venue. Please note: activities such as Indoor Sports carry some risk of injury. While every effort is taken to ensure the safety of all participants, students undertake this activity at their own risk.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: SNOOKER Code: SN Students: Year 12 ONLY Max. Number: Unlimited STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Mark Labrosciano NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. This activity is open to Year 12 students only. Students may choose to participate in an organised competition, or simply enjoy as many ‘fun’ games of snooker as possible. Venue: Chalkers 8 Ball Centre, 112 Jetty Rd, Glenelg Start: Students should assemble at ‘Chalkers’ at 8.45am, for 9.00am start Dismissal: Students will be dismissed from ‘Chalkers’ at approximately 11.00am Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity, and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Drinks and snacks may be purchased at the venue. Students will be expected to participate in as many games as possible. Students will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is accounted for at the conclusion of the activity and all Snooker tables are left in the same condition as the commencement of the day. Safety Requirements: General ‘safe’ and ‘sensible’ behaviour in such a venue is expected. ‘Chalkers’ is a non-smoking venue. Travelling Arrangements: Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements both to and from the venue.
Mission Action Day 2021 Activity: 10-PIN BOWLING/LASER TAG Code: BO Students: Year 11 ONLY Max. Number: 120 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Ms Anna Porcelli NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. This activity will include a combination of bowling and laser tag games. Venue: Zone Bowling Centre, Woodville 819 Port Rd, Woodville Start: Students should assemble at the venue for 9.00am roll call Dismissal: Students will be dismissed from the venue at 11.00am Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity, and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Drinks and snacks may be purchased at the venue. Students will be expected to participate in a combination of bowling games and laser tag. Good sportsmanship is also expected. Safety Requirements: General ‘safe’ and ‘sensible’ behaviour in such a venue is expected. Suitable clothing and footwear should be worn. White soled sand shoes/sneakers are permitted for bowling. Travelling Arrangements: Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements both to and from the venue.

Number: 105 STAFF ACTIVITY LEADER: Mr Gavin O’Reilly NOTE: This is a pre-paid activity, with a minimum donation of $40. Australia’s first inner-city aerial adventure park built within the natural environment of the Adelaide City Park lands. TreeClimb is an innovation from Bounce SA, aiming to create and nurture a unique environment that safely challenges, educates and excites thrill seekers, nature enthusiasts and curious adventurers. Venue: TreeClimb Adelaide Park 20, Adelaide Park Lands Cnr Greenhill Rd & Unley Rd Start: Students will be allocated a 2 hour time slot between 9.00am – 1.00pm (tba) Dismissal: Students will be dismissed from the venue at the completion of their activity. Student Expectations: This is a lock-in activity, and no student will be permitted to leave the facility until the designated finishing time. Drinks and snacks may be purchased at the venue.
