June 10th- Rain or Shine In the event of inclement weather, the decision to change the time of the ceremony will be made by the Administration by 7:00pm on June 9, 2021. The Methacton School District website will carry the announcement as soon as it is made and will include additional details as needed. If the forecast predicts inclement weather for the entire day, with no stop, we will hold graduation in the rain and will provide ponchos to the students.

Students meet at MHS You will be assigned to a teacher and classroom- you need to be there between 7:00- 7:30am. You will check in, eat breakfast, have your temp checked and board the bus to the stadium. **Any student with a temp of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to participate.*** Everyone will start at MHS to ensure we have all students accounted for. Masks must be worn. 4
Once we arrive to the Stadium Go through Metal Detectors and have thermal scan completed. Everyone must wear a mask. Bags are NOT permitted. Clutches only.
Once we are in- ● Quick bathroom break, then line up alphabetically by 9:15 ● You will be covered- out of the sun ● Your teacher assigned to you will help with making sure you are in the correct order ● We will stage here (see pic) and then enter the gate. ● There are bathrooms available in this area. 6

Students will go home with their family There will NOT be bus transportation home for students- they will go home with parents/guardians. Any student participating in graduation that will not have a family member attending and will be there without transportation home should contact graduation@methacton.org by June 1, 2021. 14

Enter Stadium @ Crozier Gate You will go through a metal detector and a Thermal Scan to enter the stadium. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 will not be permitted to enter. Please check your temperature before you leave home. Show your General admission tickets Gates open at 10am – Event begins at 11am
Number of Tickets= 8 EIGHT Tickets for each graduate will be distributed during the rehearsal on Tuesday, June 8th. All obligations must be fulfilled to receive tickets. To fit all students and families with appropriate distancing, groups may need to split into smaller numbers to sit together. As you are planning for your seats- please note social distancing requires that you keep three seats distance between you and the group next to you, as well as one seat diagonally behind/ in front of you. Within each group, families are expected to sit next to each other. Requests for additional tickets cannot be honored due to limited space. We will be giving away four luxury boxes in a raffle (seating for 12, air conditioning, private entrance, preferred parking, etc..). Families who win the raffle will be notified by administration and special tickets will be issued. 18
Seating Seating is first-come, first-served. Ushers will be able to help you find seating while keeping groups socially distanced. Groups may be broken into two; four; six, or eight. There needs to be THREE EMPTY seats between different groups, and one open seat diagonally across from groups. Within each group, families are expected to sit next to each other. 19
Handicapped Seating Included in general admission ticket- available along all corners of the field. Seating will be available for those in need of assistance and one companion. 20

● MHS will be holding a random drawing for four (4) of the suites. If your student’s name is picked and your family wins the drawing, administration will be in touch with you during the week of May 1 with the details. 23

● Concessions will be available from 10am- end of the ceremony. Food and drinks purchased at the concession stands are permitted in the stadium. ● There will be NO alcohol sales available in the stadium.
After the Ceremony Finding your grad Photo opportunities will be available in the quad. All guests will be ushered out of the stadium to this space. PLEASE REMEMBER to take your graduate home with you. 26
Other logistical items for graduation
What should they wear under thier green Methacton gown? Yes: No: More No: Dress pants Jeans or Shorts No excessive jewelry, Collared shirt with tie No (spike) high heels, flowers, or corsages flip-flops, sneakers, for the ceremony. Dress moccasins, slides, Please do not Dress shirt/ skirt slippers, etc… decorate your cap Dress shoes 28
How do they know what to do during the ceremony Graduation Practice is mandatory! (all of them) ALL practices are at MHS in the stadium. Students are asked to bring a bottle of water, wear a mask, and bring a blanket/towel to sit on during practices so we can spread out. While not at practices, students are expected to attend class as normal. Grad Practice Dates: Monday, June 7- noon Tuesday, June 8- 7:30am 29 Wednesday, June 9- noon
