Welcome to Christmas
Amazingly it’s that time of year again when we turn our thoughts to Christmas. Last year we made the decision
not to send out the Annual Christmas brochure in August and I’m pleased to say this was well received. Most
of our guests are able to view the online brochure and if not, our team are only too willing to either talk
through the details or post out menus.
Maison Talbooth is having a brilliant time in her 40th birthday year; the treatment rooms are open 7 days a
week so take some time out and indulge yourself with a treatment or two!
We’ve arranged a fabulous selection of parties for you during the festive period. Le Talbooth, as always leads the
way with fifteen dinner dances in the run up to Christmas Day. The party nights at The Pier at Harwich are
proving really popular and the highlight of New Year’s Eve in Harwich is definitely the dinner and dance at The
Pier followed by fireworks in the harbour.
At milsoms a ‘super de-luxe’ Christmas menu for Mr G’s makes a brilliant alternative to the ever popular Weavers
room at Le Talbooth.
And of course, milsoms Kesgrave Hall celebrates Christmas this year with extra bedrooms and private dining
areas – great for parties either at lunch time or in the evening.

New Year’s Eve at Le Talbooth                                                                                      NEW YEAR’S EVE MENU
Starting with Champagne and canapés at 7.30pm, a piper will lead guests into
the dining room for a superb five-course dinner. Dance to the Steve Linton Band                                               canapés
and Essence, who will supply non-stop music from 10.30pm until 2.30am.

Christmas Day
Christmas Day begins with a champagne breakfast either in the comfort of your bedroom or in
the garden room. For those wishing to attend Christmas morning service there are several small
churches in the parishes of Dedham, Langham, Ardleigh and Stratford St Mary.
Christmas Luncheon is served in the Restaurant at Le Talbooth starting from midday.
Christmas afternoon is rarely active but for those feeling energetic we can recommend a walk
to revive your appetite before the evenings light supper.

Boxing Day
There is as much (or as little!) to do as you like on Boxing Day.
Why not follow the local Essex and Suffolk hunt which meets in Hadleigh and follow them
through the beautiful Constable countryside.
Or join us at the New Wolsley Theatre for their annual pantomime Aladdin.
For the less energetic, why not be pampered in our Maison treatment rooms or stay in the
hotel and curl up in the lounge with a good book
