The Club Stadio Italiano invites all the national and foreign clubs to taking part in the COPPA
ITALY AND PICCOLINA of Artistic Swimming 2018.
This year we will have the presence of Mss. Ashley Jhonson, Judge Zone South of USA Synchro,
Principal Director of the club Aquacades in Coral Springs – Florida, nominated as the Best Coach
of the South Zone of The United States in 2018, National Team Coach for USA Synchro, Head
Choreographer Costa Rica National Team and several university teams in USA.

5. ElegibilityEvery participant in the Coppa Italia - Piccolina 2018 must be member of a Club or Equipe Team
due constituted and affiliated to a National Federation recognized and affiliated to FINA.
6. Categories
Novice
A swimmer that started synchro less than two years ago, not yet ready to compete at a
UANA championships and did not even compete as “first category” in Chile´s National
Championships.

• A swimmer Infantil A and B will be able to compete in top categories as long as do not
compete in the same modality of routines in her group of age. If the swimmer infantile A
or B decides to compete in some routines of a top category, also she must do it in the
modality of figures of the top category.
8. Pool Specs
Outdoor pool without shade.
Pool dimentions are 164 ft by 82 ft by 7.21 ft deep.Deck entry area is clear.
9. Routine Quantities and number of swimmers
• Each club will be able to register in the categories for ages a maximum of two (2) solos,
two (2) duets, two (2) teams y three (3) free combination routines.
• Each club will be able to register in Senior Category a maximum of one (1) Technical solo
técnico, one (1) Free Solo, one (1) Technical Duet and one (1) Free duet routines.
• In the Team Competition, whether in the free routine or technical routine, one half
point penalty (0,5) shall be deducted from the total score for each member less than
eight (8). The minimum of swimmers to compete as a team should be four (4)
• Is possible to present a second team on the same competition category, as long as the
first one be of eight (8) swimmers
• Free Combination Routines should be composed by eignt (8) to ten (10) swimmers.
There will be any deduction for compete with less than 10 swimmers.
• Second and Third Free Combination Routine could be compete in the same category as
long as the previous one have 10 swimmers.
• The swimmer that will be rise to completing a Team in a higer category of her age,
should compete as well as in the figure modality of the higer category.
10. Time limits for routines
The limits for all routines including ten (10) seconds for deck movement:

11. Final Result
• For Beginners and First Categories Infantile D, A, B and Juvenile the final result
will be determined by 50 % the result of figures and other 50 % the result of the
Free Routine Sesion
• For Junior and Senior Categorieas each sesion, Technical and Free Routines will
be awarded, separately by 100% of their results.
• Free combined routines will be awarded by 100 % of its results.
12. Awards
1) Medalls will be awarded for places 1 to 3 on Figure and Routine Sesions. Figure places did
not give points for the Cup.
2) For Junior and Senior Categories medalls will be awarded for places 1 to 3 as well Thecnical
Routine as Free Routine Sesions.
3) Medalls will be awarded for places 1 to 3 on Free Combination Sesions.
It will be a Coppa Piccolina award for under 12 age group and a Coppa Italia award for 13 age
and older. All the routines registered with the exception of the Free combination ones, will give
poins for the Coppas according to the following table and so on:

A Trophy will be granted to the Club with major quantity of points accumulated in final results of
all the categories and different modalities of the competition.
Stadio Italiano´s Artistic Swimming Division, will be responsible for the organization, functioning
of the Coppa and will guard over the correct conduct of all the swimmers, coaches, delegates
and representatives. The organizing committee will be able to decide about matters that should
arise during the development of the Coppa and need immediate decisions.
13. Music
Music should be emailed to directivasincro@gmail.com by Oct 25,2018. All music should be
submitted as an .MP3 file. Please label the file with the last name of the first swimmer, category,
routine, country, club or federation, coach´s last name and name. See example below:

14. Delegates
Every club and / or inscribed team must present one(1) delegate.
15. Oficials
Referee: Mss. Ashley Johnson.
Every foreign club can send officials recognized by his/her country to take part in the event. The
maximum number of judges of practice is of two (2) for Club. The expenses of the judges will be
on charge of every club participant. The assistance of the judges will be allowed without the
federation of his/her country takes part in the competition. Organizer club will designate the
officials on the Technical Table, as well as also the necessary judges to complete the needed
panels.
16. Technical Meeting
During the technical meeting (Wednesday November 7 at 19 hours) is obligatory the assistance
of the delegate of every club and. The following procedures will be realized:
• Drawing of figures and starting order.
• Review of documentation, the delegates must take the passports or original CI of the
swimmers
• Explanation of worries with the Referee of the competition (swimsuits, doubts, etc).17. Tentative Schedule
Final Schedule will be distributed one week before the event.

- Technical Meeting 19 hours
- Welcome meeting for autorities and coaches, 20 hours
Thuesday November 8 : - Coaches Clinic with Ashley Johnson: “Choreography and
Music Interpretation: How to compose a Thrilling Routine”
- Practice with music on the pool from 2:00 p.m. According to
assigned schedule
Friday November 9: - Open pool for practice A.M. (no music)
- All figures P.M.
Saturday November 10: - Routines A.M. y P.M.
Sunday Novembre 11: - Routines A.M.
- Awards and Closing Ceremony

All entries must be typed or computer generated on the attached application form,emailed by
the entry deadline: Sep 28, 2018
The Application form must be filled in its entirety, marking with a X the routine that corresponds
and with the letter R the routine where the swimmer one is a reserve.
Entry Fees
• Preinscripcion up to Friday August 31: 25 US $ per competitor (18.000 chilean pesos)
• Final Inscription Friday September 28: 35 US $ por competitor (25.000 chilean pesos)Inscription Fees includes access to the Club during Competition´s days and the assistance to the clinics programmed for coaches and swimmers. They are not included any hotel, meals or traveling fees. Transport from and towards the airport, will have to be financed for every delegation, without
prejudice to which the organization can help in the arrangements of the same one.
A service of lunch and dinner for the swimmers and delegates that have not been lodged at
club´s families houses, will have a cost 15 $ per person daily.
All the meals must be confirmed and paid with the inscriptions and they will not be refundable
even if they are not taken.
Transport from the hotel towards the swimming pool will be arranged depending on the
quantity of persons on international delegations
