CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION The evening begins in style with a champage reception held in the iconic Grand Ballroom, where guests rub shoulders with the L&D industry’s elite, as the excitment and anticipation builds. Each champagne glass will be adorned with a silk ribbon displaying the logo of the champagne reception sponsor.
THE LIGHTBOX A focal point of the Learning Awards, the Lightbox shows the seating arrangements for each of the guests and is viewed by hundreds of people. With such a prominent position, the Lightbox offers a headline sponsor logo placement above all others.
2020 YOUR TABLE At approximately 7pm, you and your guests are guided to the elegant and dazzling Grand Ballroom and their personalised place-setting. As they soak up the opulent atmosphere, an exclusive Learning Awards three-course dinner will be served (created by executive chef Anthony Marshall), complemented perfectly by a selection of red and white wines and soft drinks. On your table, four beautifully printed gatefold menus inform your guests of the evening’s order of events. Full-colour sponsor logos are displayed on the inner pages, with an exclusive front cover option reserved for the headline sponsor logo.
CHARITY FUNDRAISING The Learning Awards also contributes significantly to charitable causes. Our chosen charity is Dreamflight, a registered UK charity that changes young lives by taking children with a serious illness or disability on the holiday of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida. The charity is funded solely by volunteers and voluntary contributions, and has just 6 employees. Once a year, 192 deserving children from all over the UK, accompanied by a team of medical carers, board a chartered Boeing 747 and head to Florida to spend 10 magical days of fun and excitement. Many children could not undertake such a trip without the support of the army of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and non-medical volunteers who care for the children 24 hours a day. The LPI holds a charity auction during the Learning Awards dinner, which in the past ten years, has raised almost half-a-million pounds for ChildLine & Dreamflight. In addition, the LPI staff together with colleagues and customers, produce a Charity Calendar - the proceeds of which go entirely to Dreamflight. Involving over 100 people from across the L&D industry, the Charity Calendar is the high-point of the LPI’s fundraising efforts and takes cen- tre-stage at the Awards during the evening’s celebrations. To maximise the amount of money raised, all photography, hair & makeup and Photoshop work is done in-house.
THE BIG SCREEN As the anticipation reaches fever-pitch, the lights go down and the awards ceremony begins. Guided by your event host, BAFTA-nominated TV and radio star, Claudia Winkleman, now is the time to enjoy the dramatic reactions of the finalists as the results are announced and share the joy of the eventual winners as they experience their moment in the spotlight - for many, a pivotal, career-defining moment in their professional lives. MAIN VIDEO All finalists and winners are announced on the main video, making it the central focal point for all 650 guests and for thousands more subscribing to the international livestream. Before the announcements, the showreel video displays all sponsor logos and company names, giving your brand a highly prominent feature as the excitement builds. SPONSOR ADVERT Throughout the ceremony, the sponsor advert will be played on the big screen, and the sponsor logo will be displayed on rolling video screens throughout the event.
THE LIVESTREAM Reach thousands of screens across the globe as your logo is displayed on the livestream. With both organic coverage as part of main Ballroom footage and as dedicated inserts into the stream itself, your brand will be seen by a global audience and associated with the success and celebration of the Award winners. PHOTO & VIDEO All winners (and runners-up where possible) are interviewed and photographed by our media partners in front of the sponsor banner. At 4 metres wide and 2.5 metres high, its diagonal layout ensures your logo will always be visible. For extra PR coverage, our media team can arrange interviews with you and your VIP guests, including winners and finalists. AFTER-SHOW PARTY After the awards have been made, the celebrations continue well into the night. Now’s the time to kick off your heels and loosen your bow-tie, as the after-show party begins with live music from our house band.
